Are there any upcoming psy-trance parties in the month of december (especially 25th and/or 31st).
I have been seeing lot of interesting posts for Montreal/Quebec/Calgary but nothing so far about toronto.
if anyone knows of any upcoming events or parties at clubs please reply to this post.

i wonder how far it is from boston to toronto.....
i've partied in montreal a lot, but never in toronto. is there anyone who's been to psy parties in both cities that can offer a comparison? |

There is a very small NYE party in Toronto www.blacklightactivists.ca , but other than that it's pretty quiet here at the moment. We are doing a free party Jan 8th, to bid farewell to a friend check http://www.eloko.com for details.

vector : Toronto is really cool too. The music is more progressive or tech trance compared to Montreal wich is more full on. Parties are a bit smaller there but you see mainly "trance people" in parties while in Montreal parties are often bigger but you have all kind of people including fashion victims and candy ravers. People also tend to be a bit older in Toronto, I'm sure you'll like it ... If you come across any BLA don't miss it, their parties are allways great. |

absolutely right dude....
i've been saying this forever!!!.....the music scene in Montreal Is Not Good At All its mainly full on(most of it israeli full on..) and the crowd is not even matching the party.
we need more psytech and Dark...like Texas Faggot,Mandalavandalz,Squaremeat,G.O.W,Mussy Moody,Weirdo Beardo,RAM,Droidsect.........and the list is long......there is alot of good music out there that needs to be recognized in Montreal!

the last bla event was koxbox and it was really nice. I will most likely be at the nye party that bla is organizing.

It would me nice to see you there psynikill, always nice to see out of towners coming out! If you want to come check out new years it might be a good idea to email BLA, 'cause it will be a little intimate party with a limited capacity. Just to let you know ;p |

No, what they mean by intimat is a smaller party with a limited capacity. I am sure noone will be turned away if they plan in advance and email Bla to say they are coming in from out of town.
Don't be scared by the intimacy of the party. It is a good thing.

Buddy, we need more GOA, it's dying man. One good event that was supposed to happen was ClaiforniaSunshine(Har-el Prussky, DJ Miko <= Best Psychedelic of all time), Aug2oo4, outdoor party... never ended up happening. I dunno man, I personally thought KoxBox was thze shzit, I haven't heard from the trio in a while, and I must admit BLA did an amazing job with that... but wtf is going to happen with the GOA in Toronto... I think all this current psy is not the experimental stuff PsychedelicTrance was a about... but props to DarkSoho, a Toronto visitor with amazing talent... his new album shows what musical diversity and originality means. Pepe aka Squaremeat first of all i wanted to say that you are a great talent and one of the best artists i know...the track "Wakawaa" is really mind blasting!!!
and there is more from that list....i really hope to see you guys up here in Montreal one day with Mandalavandalz  )) i will pay any price!!
GOA-PsYcHeD ,unfortunatly california sunshine like alot of artists,went to the full on wave and started to make full on a long time ago....however, i agree about Koxbox,they are the shit!
hopefully,producers will start to think more about the music and less about the money.
i'm personally going to play in parties(even for free,i dont care) and i'm going to bring all the best stuff which i'm sure alot of people around here haven't even heard of yet. )
