yeah we need more views. I just wonder if it was just non-psy music which i think gms has been lacking for a long time or if it was actually something sounding like house.           `Bottomless wonders spring from simple rules, which are repeated without end` Mandelbrot

sounds reasonable, doesnt it now?
if one can use their talents for widening their pockets...let them b. we all do that one way or another.
it wont however stop them from producing what they really like....no matter u (us) like it or not.

this scene has become ridiculusly elitist i believe..

+ house is lright, maybe not the super spiritual 'cosmic experience' music as some feel for trance, but it is good enough to have a solid night out..surrounded by loads of hot chicks....concerened bout everyday life (& all the lush values in it) rather than 'universal love' cosmic spirits or i dont know..proving their spirifuckintuality           Why u little !!!

Sure it's the same artist Void? If you do a search on artist name "Void" on www.discogs.com, 13 different artists with the same name are returned. It seems a common name. Pretty cool tracks on that house compilation, though.

And quite frankly, I'd be 100x more interested to hear GMS experiment with a house influence than the the same full-on sound they have been stuck on for the last few years.

Yeah!So he did!
Pure gorgonzola.......!
Thanks God it rained while he was playing.
Not because I want to see bad things happening to him but for the sake of the festival and for the sake of my ears.
It didn't bother me that much though,
It was time for a nap anyway!

Dear all,
I would like to ask something to all of you...
Who do we think we are that we are continiously judging everybody's music?
If GMS want to produce house music from now on...that's fine, If Antix want to produce and play pop music that's fine.

Please leave the artists free to express what they want to express and communicate in THE WAY THEY WANT! At the end of the day we all want something innovative in this scene, isn't it? So, If GMS (or whoever else) want to experiment with "house music" grooves, let them do it! Otherwise we will always have the same music ALWAYS!

think about it....

Best regards

That's very true what you said but at least they should not promote themselves as Trance anymore.
If vthey want to change style it's up to them but it's not fair to go to a trance party and then listen to house.

Dot Kite - i fully agree.
one thing though - take Psysex for example, Yoni has a side project that is progressive so instead of labeling it as Psysex - he calls it Ace Ventura. i think thats a better way of doing things.
Simon has like 23 names for his various adventures.           "On the other hand, you have different fingers."

Yeah I agree with Surrender, I think the point is more that they played house under the GMS name, as opposed to the members of GMS doing a house project or whatever. I know if I went to see "Hallucinogen - Live" and Simon just played a bunch of tracks from his new drum'n'bass project (no he doesn't have one, at least I don't think he does) I would be a little unhappy.

I believe it's up to artists to promte themselves as whatever they like to whenever they want to. And it's also possible to do various styles as an artist under the same artist name.
As an example you got Jaia who do psy, progressive and downbeat/chill.
If more artists did that our scene would be much more interesting

Dear Neville Bone, Surrender, mquirk1,
all of you have a good point on what you ve posted above. And I agree with all of you completely!
But let's try to not restrict the "creativity" of the artists in any way!

Let's try to "give" them total freedom ....and we see what they will bring us....Then, we can judge for ourselfs if we want to "follow" those artists or not!

Best regards
