but like i said, we are trying to make this one a little more intimate. we drew about 150 for convergence, and 300 for halcyon. just trying to strike a balance somewhere in between  |

i dont think halcyon was too big. it was fantastic.there was plenty of open air and space if you needed to get away for a break to catch up with your mind away from everyone else. i'm kinda thinking this one will be a little bigger tho.

Whatever the size, I think a reminder of the idea of invisibility is in order.
That turn-off of the main road is the single most-important move on everybody's part. (well and obviously avoiding nearby establishments)
After we conquer that, we simply direct all of our energy towards the center, establish a nice thick 'force field' between the party and the outside world, and have a damn good time.
But regardless - these are all things that must to be expressed to people who may not have seen the emails. |

my luck just ran very dry. my friends in nyc with the car saw the directions and freaked out. guess it was the words "the man" that did it. (thats what u get when u make plans with psy newbies!)
anyway, im stuck here now.  its a long shot but if anyone reads this in time and can spare an extra seat goin/comin from the event, i would be eternally grateful. just PM me on isra or call me @ 765 409 4149

good party, beautiful spot, interesting crowd, spooks video was a very nice touch, really nice and trippy. overall, a very nice time, though quite a few people i expected to come didn't. of course, i'm blaming canada.
more after i get some sleep.

YES! Success once again.
Thanks PSI, and everyone who put effort into this event, including the attendees. Everyone played their part in turning the spot into a psychedelic playground. Shangrila indeed!
I'm rocking the Ibuprofen today. I don't think I've danced so much in my life.
Heard a great variety of music at this one. Touch Samadhi never fails. I dunno how I missed Alex at GeoLogic, but that was some of the most forward thinking and twisted psytrance I've ever heard. I'd call it PsIDM at times. Good job. Kri and BSM - no words need to be said. Except "damn that nintendo track rocks balls"
I was thinking it was going to start raining near the end there... and was actually kind of hoping it would. Maybe some of you all weren't, but I was, so I guess we had some rain-dances and some anti-rain dances going on, and the storm cloud decided 'fuck it, i'm confused' and just left.
Can't wait to see the pictures.

Great music as expected, but the vibe surpassed my expectations...rarely have I met as many friendly, super-cool people at a party. To top it off, the moments of the live set that were strange and twisted but still had a smidgen of melody were exactly what I crave in psytrance. And that nintendo track made me crazy on the dancefloor...couldn't have asked for a better intro to the east coast scene than psycheground on wed, spook and bsm on friday, and then the main event last nite. Hope to see y'all soon.

At one point in the night I came to believe that the stars came together just so i could be there and share this experience.
the location, music and people vibrated at the same freqency at a plane that was beyond me but within me . kri+alex's live set really explored the edges of psy trance sending people into all corners of the night... and the beautiful sunrise music brought them back together.
i lost and found myself thanks to the energy and colorful spirits of the people there. beautiful things happened. I cant start to thank people individually... Id just like to say thank you too everyone who was there and everyone who brought me there. It was one of the best psy-experiences and I will cherish it forever.
hope to find you all again.

My only problem - the music could have been better. the live stuff was very lacking in production and sounded to me at times like very amatuer music, not even Psy-Trance. I don't know the dj's but please for next time change them.

it was an amazing time like always! i'm glad those guys found their car keys they we're talking to me about it before they left.... as for the music... I THOUGHT IT WAS GREAT!!! lmao.... i think the best thing was when the music stopped at like 10 something in the morning and someone put on duran duran (i think).... it was pretty much all psy maybe a couple trance songs... and there were a couple vocals .... but i thought it was great! it was nice to mix it up a bit haha. The word is def. spreading about how great our psy trance "scene" is... and how nice, courdious and accepting the people are at these events... i saw people that i met like 5 years ago this weekend haha... it was def. a great end to my summer! Thank you so much... and a big thanks to everyone who made this party so great... camoboi (Erik) |
