Your latest album, Spike, is receiving mixed reviews. I personally like it, but not as much as Corridor of Mirrors. When comparing both, I feel it lacks some dance floor effective tracks and maybe another twisted pinch of psychedelic. What do you think?

I will do one as soon as I bought the entire thing from beatport but I already got Blue tubes and I love it.

I really like the sounds, In corridor of mirros my fav track was Arcadia magic and I feel the new album picks from there. For me its tech trance feeling is something quite interesting and rare this days cause everyone goes full in to generic techno.

benji - i think you have seen the reactions on thursday's performance... on triplets (!!!!!!), 2010, blue tubes, dark star - really awesome tracks, but the new album as a whole, compared to corridor of mirrors, i honestly think it pales, but thats my preference, the album's direction is a lil' too minimalistic for me - i think corridor of mirrors was a masterpiece as each track really hit the spot (for me).

and i wanna say THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for what you did on last thursday... amazing sounds

I think Spike is a great album. Rush has a great 80s blast from the past feel to it, 2010 is a groovy piece, and the last three tracks are just excellent electronica tracks. I have listened to it a whole lot and really enjoy the feel to the tracks.           Goa Goa-trance & Psytrance parties in Oslo, Norway:

yO man, watt opp in da hoodz? :)

I havent listened to the entire Spike album yet but I did get a EP from a friend above ) and I loved it. Feel it-s like a variation of the Orbital sound.

I totally disagree, from the psy-trance listener's/dancer's point of view.
Spike sounds like another electronica album with some clubbier tunes that can be played on a dancefloor.
I mean there is a kick, a bassline at a dance relevant tempo, although I can't help but thinking I've listened to this kind of music, like 5-6 years ago...it kinda reminded the Trentmoller and the rest of the people that jumped on that clubby-electronica-band-wagon in the mid '00s...
Whereas Corridor Of Mirrors has substance, is 10 times more driving, tickles the psychedelic fancy a lot more...its like all the good stuff from the good ol' psy-trance people have been longing for, for years, yet done in unique and fresh style, instead of re-doing what has been done before.
It was sweet nostalgia, played with sounds from the future.

Spike ticks all the boxes of the "cliches" of what is being played nowdays...what with the '80s coming back to fashion and the technoish tight clicky perc/synth lines that everyone and their dogs are making/playing at clubs...and as subjective as trance inducing sounds are, there is nothing trance inducing in Spike.
Don't get me wrong, there are barely any albums that stand the test of time, nowdays...Corridor Of Mirrors was so good, that it cast a massive shadow on an awful lot of albums when it came out and an awful lot (all of the ones I heard for that matter) of albums that came out last year, Spike is amongst them albums.

Peace out.
