Well said. I think the new breed of prog is something of a new wave tech influenced electro with a pinch of psychedelic. groovy and slightly trippy/twisted at the same time which scores way over pure electro music in my books. a bit of cheese is never too bad.
I would love frogacult to return and recreate some of that tribal prog magic that existed earlier ,tho.

i had heard that they were back in the studio, but recently i had inquired about frogacult playing in an event in North America and mikkel had responded by telling me that they don't produce music together anymore and that he is working on a solo project and that 'maybe' and 'hopefully' will be releasing with iboga in 2008.

I absolutely love Kliment. I thought that over the past 4 years or so we would have been hearing more about there releases and success. There evolving livesets are stellar and there crispy production and stellar atmospheric progressions really get me. Thank you for reminding me about how much I love Kliment. I am going to listen to it right now... ; ) |
