problem with muthafm...:(

hi
i got some serious problem with mutha fm..
im clicking on "Live Stream".. and i see the text "Checking Plugin.... please wait..."
but nothing else is happening, no music, no error message, nothing...
someone have any idea what might be the problem? |

Mutha FM are unprofessional, and far to big-headed for their crappy internet radio station....
i mean come on....mutha fm are never going to be a real radio station....and without REAL MONEY ,how long can mutha fm sustain whatever it is they are doing....
business wise they are again naive , ignorant and unprofessional....
the average cape townian doesnt even know about mutha fm...
,....wow talk about an amazing advertising campaign....
mutha fm will never get any real radio frequency space since they will never be diverse enough or deemed diverse enough for national or even provincial broadcasting for that matter...
so as i say again "Mutha FM sucks!"
prove me wrong and unsuck....but i doubt that is ever going to happen....
anyways thats all i am going to say about this....as this is a trance forum and not a "muthfm-bashing" forum.

a bit harsh 1337 and i think unfounded
you gotta respect them for what theyre trying to achieve , not shoot them full of holes cause they dont have a 5FM advertising campaign or reach the mainstream market.
and i heard somewhere that they might be getting their broadcasting licence soon
so how would you like your words minced or fried before you eat em  |

When we were in south africa we got to play in mutha fm, I have nothing but love for these guys and gals, they do it all for free and for the sake of playing psytrance and basically every electronic music they could put their hands on.
I really dont see how you could say anything bad about them....

Hey l337 I have played Mutha FM twice and only have good things t say! Big headed?????????? Whats that supposed to mean...
All the guys and girls there are doing it for the love of it not to make money! Who cares if they're not huge and mainstream, they have thier following.
Anyway wat u said i think was uncalled for, just chill , i mean they aren't doing any personal damage to u are they?

yes of course as an artist you would all think them super cool...and awesome and everything....
but business wise, its not happening for them and they are not winning there to the fact that they have no idea what they are really doing....
the original point of mutha fm was not a free radio station, i can assure you those boys started it for the "money" yes they have passion, i agree....but one doesnt invest over R700 000 for fun , or not to make a return..... |
