They didnt really have much of a choice last year - one of the knock on effects of the freak good weather was that the sound travelled to the nearest village - who were straight on the phone to the police - so if they hadnt of turned it down - dare say there wouldnt have been a festival this year.
I'd be surprised if any licensed UK festival could get the 24 hr music license you'd need to have music on in the morning - which is a shame. Though I quite liked the fact the Glade wasnt 24/7, as everyone was on the same timescale (instead of breaking off into night/day shifts as happens in Europe) and there werent too many casualties... It was indeed a UK festival with all thats good about it!
BTW Didnt Tristan play on Saturday?
