Who ducking cares if its fair or not for the party promoters?? (no hard feeling, speaking generally) . Its a campus area and all STUDENTS have legal right to throw parties BUT only if they respect the area and people who actually lives there. In ANY case if someone is taking advantage of asylum must never take permission for party never again.
As for the fair or not for the party promoters, man the parties that take place in politexnioupoli are totally different from those in clubs, no comparison. The 90% of the parties in the campus area sucks big time@music, people, sound..... |

dark elf u ure self after making some events said
that the place is the worst for parties to me and that ul never get involved in it and make parties there , i never said i never played or i never will again, i just gave the concept that politenupoli will not be for along time for parties and till then the club psy is being driven away, so tell me if parties continue there and 1 day pritanis says im fed up
who will pay 10.000 for all the broken things there and mabe more,and they close the place from parties as final. then what is the piont know to lose people from the events with international artists,politenupoli is like arpaxtes now till they lock it ,and at the same its damaging the club area of trance, see it ure self
if this goes on each week 100 people will lsiten to trance next year, and by the way djing u can play anywere u get money for ,but making parties is diferent.

plus 1 more thing free events and free events in politenupoli are 2 diferenet things make it in a club
1000 times better like iv done or natural high or detox has done many times in the past ,next step will be for u to make parties in bouli and spin with the heads of goverment lol hehehehe

hey my friend Atropa first thing, i dont vote against the clubs here i just said my opinion that the nature of parties is outdoor, now you talk for the 2 best clubs athens had before and the best parties ever made,can never forget, also i cant forget the times i was runnin out for some fresh air, well, i think a cllub is good for listening music and bad for psy uses if u kno wat i mean
but you can never have it all
i feel happy we have free open air parties and also am happy we have club parties both are welcome and we shud work out for the best in each situation
now, there are sounds and music that in my opinion, you cannot listen in a small club because it will freak u out..and that goes also if u use substances or not, i talk just for the music-but thats only my humble opinion..

ok so let him say so when time will come !!!and i never said that !!! i said i attended to some good events and some other shitties... and i didnt like the shitty ones...
the reason we stopped doing parties, is that i was tired with all the organization, and i prefer focusing on my productions than doing the promoter or org...
everybody has a role, yes i did some parties to promote the style i liked, and it worked, but i will stand to composer/sound engineer
i cant be EVERYTHING, like label owner/party promoter/dj/composer/graphist
too much for me

Ok, each one with his own violin again (O kathenas to violi tou diladi)...
Good parties are made up from good music, nice people, and nice atmosphere.
This may happen anywhere, in a club, or in Polytechneioupoli (it isn't that hard as a word).
People though are now smarter, and know crap when they hear one. So, don't be surprised if in the future parties there will be 20-30 kangaroos desperate for some fun.

Obviously people will prefer free OUTDOOR events (with sometimes good soundsystem  )than paying 20euros (and expensive drinks) for a SMALL HOLE called "CLUB" ..
About the music: generally it's of same quality as this played in clubs, and if there's some DARK night then some even more psychedelic music can be heard :]

Clubs are meant to hold music events and universities are meant to educate people,when a university and its asylum are being exploited from some people on a weekly basis to host parties WITH NO PERMISSION BY ANYONE (therefore the closed doors problems and the lack of electricity on many of these illegal parties) then something is obviously wrong.
YES the university people and some political groups inside the university have the right to host 4-5 events a year but having every weekend a party there from people that have never ever attended a lesson in any university at all then this is pure exploitation of the university area and whatever it represents and stands for.
For me the only group of people that has the right AND IS ABLE to organise trance parties inside the university area are the Void Network people who were actually the first (if i am not mistaken) who started making trance events inside universities and are the only ones who have the means and power to protect such an event in case something happens.
The rest of teams/people/organisers that make free parties inside the university area are 90% people that cant book a club to make their own events,are people who booked clubs in the past but failed to gain the support of the people and played music in front of 30-40 people and in general are people who care to make parties in order for themselves and their friends to play music because no party team in Athens is going to invite them to do so in a club party and because they cant on their own,or tried but failed,to organise a serious event with enough crowd.
As simple as that,the rest are just excuses for small kids.
If someone wants to enjoy his favorite music with his friends in an open air space then he is free to do so by organising a nice private event and not by occupying illegaly the university area in order to pretent that he is a super duper dj.
Just for your information there were 5 private events in Athens last weekend some of them with international guests,these people know what they want and know how to make it and how to have fun.
Leave the universities alone and if you want to make an open air party and have a good time gather your friends,speak with some people,rent a nice villa somewhere outside Athens or in a mountain,invite your favorite artist,pay 20-30 euros each to cover the expenses and have the time of your life nice and easy.In any case stop the karagiozilikia in the universities because one day something bad is going to happen there and the asylum wont be able to save you,especially in our recent times when the political situation in our country is very very heated.
