wow...
Hey Jean I did not know that this shit is also happening with your job man.
I really dont believe. This is starting to piss me off.
The real "artists" of a party are not being payed.

Guys lets wake up... This cannot happen anymore.

well i think organizers should disclose everyone ( djs, deco artits, flyer designer, and PARTY PEOPLE who paid fees at any circumstance) how much they made and lose honestly, and share the profit if they have. if they dont make money, all should support them but mostly ORGANIZERS have to support those artists more

I agree with you Psybaba. When we throw parties and they go well everyone gets a piece of the cake. If it doesn't work out right we still always pay for materials and transport and then try to make up for no being able to pay wages later on.....and everyone is always happy with that solution.

there is 2 factors i would like to point for this:

1.All Professional organizer must have all his initial party costs covered and that includes dj and artists fee`s. If u depend on the sucdces of your party to pay the djs, u suck!!!

2.There are so many bad dj`s around and its so easy to start playing these days that all those amateur organizers dont have the respect they should for the dj work!

So, resuming all...this is all about stupid organizers ..           The Devil Is In Detail!

also the problem is that the new djs that are around dont charge to play,so that makes the others djs that are around for a longer time to get bad payments or not get paid at all cause of the djs that dont charge one cent........
i think the way to go is that,
all djs new or old, famous or not to charge for playing
that way the organizewrs will pay for better djs           www.alchemyrecords.co.uk

I second you sequipa, and also think that is totally unethical. Such behaviour kills the possibility of any DJ to become professional and live on music...

Also that prevents youngsters and newbies on the scene to develop their taste and to check out what a good DJ/artist is - hence also increasing the parties' quality and making ppl think that not everyone must or can be a DJ...

my 2 cents...
