maybe a too linear point of view, but the problem is out there no doubt about it, so its no use to discuss if its correct or wrong, but i think we hould start thinkin in alternatives..
for me the question is: how can one prevent piracy, either software or mp3...
and in my opinion if prices donīt go drasticly down, fewer and fewer people are gonna buy it, for sure...
and no one is clean on this, cause i wonder how many cds are released with artists using warazed software, and for example microsoft windows used warazed sony sound forge so evreybody even the ones who claim and who are against piracy actually compactuate with it, so my friend H2O, this is not one radical point of view but this is just like things work out..
how many artists donīt use warazed software??
so how many labels who are against piracy donīt compactuate directly or indirectly with piracy, so i guess they just donīt have the moral for that!! |

artists want to save money so instead of buying software they use warazed one. because they donīt have to spend money on software, they also sell their tracks cheaper to labels, so labels save money, and labels want people who can get the songs for free to actually pay for something that they (labels directly or indirectle didnīt pay for )
for me this is just nonsense |

It's a bit naive to think that if only CD prices go down then people will start to buy. I am 100% sure that even if a CD would cost 1 Euro or 1 Dollar or 1 yen or 1 krone or 1 whatever then people would still trade and download just as much as they do today. Why? Because what people can get for free will alwasy be more appealing even if the original product is very cheap  And I even consider piracy a kind of sickness in the same category as Ludomania (people that cant stop gambeling.
And at the end of the day it's up to the consumers and artists to look themselves in the mirror and ask themselves if they can live with what they do Apparently most live fine with it these days. sadly 
But of course I would not say not to cheaper music and I believe in try and buy. Also for artists that use software and release their music. |

Dramatic finnish, isn't it? Piracy is not illness just technology develop so quick that human can run after it. So it would take time to learn that for things you can't see or touch you need to pay.

Khopat uses both versions of Waves, so he payed 8000$ the minimum to get these. I do not believe he bought any of this plugin packs. Waves company is informed about this piracy act and probably will contact USA based label to explain more because Khopat is not registered Waves user. |

Is that nonsense?, i just finnish this thread on higher note. MOST OF PC USERS are PIRATes.
I'm not stopping him, i just show you guys what piracy is about. He steals 8000$(all other software is warez as well, so if we check it will be much much higher sum) when his listeners not even reach this number. As my friend told me " we are good pirates, at least we buy monitors, pc and sound card". |

Look man who said i didnt post it for a friend or for someone that had this problem....i think you are acting nonsense... for your information i have waves but none of my tracks has a single plugin of it...i prefer original software or freeware so i dont have this kind of trouble... anyway do has u wish... im not worried at all!

Anyone here got harmed by piracy, then u can say i don't like that people do this.
Some children are now dieing coz they don't have food. Isn't this a real problem?
Lot of people don't have a home where the tsunami were and isn't this a real problem?
Why do u care of some bits that don't even exist in reality?
