Yes Pavel i would not be nice, right. As i said before, asking would be nice.
But if u would take my tracks and release it as yours, it would see that you like the tracks and if u release them on a label that they are (relative) good.
And yes we all have this ego thing, maybe i would be angry about u for some time, but makes it sense to worry? Can i change the past? I could ask u to collobarate and we could do a act together

Today I've stumbled upon a weeeird thing...
It seems that there is also another Moondalla organized this year in Brazil. Apart from the fact that the organizers from Brazil stole the name of our Polish festival, they also stole its visual aspects like the logo and the flyer (made by Kate / Neila), which belong to Toga Dansverg (the previously mentioned Polish group behind Moondalla).

Psytrance scene as a synonym for a culture full of respect for others (and other people's work) and friendly atmosphere? Yeah, right...

Yes, It is outrageous, but maybe its only a few people like that. Lets not label 'Brazil'as a PLUR-less place, im sure there are many respectable orgs there too.
Its weird because i dont see why people have to even copy anything??
Its not a style of music or a phat bassline or a sample which has been tried and worked so now every wannabe artist does the same..
its a festival right?? Man, it wud be fun to Name a fastival.. thats leavin a mark on the scene, plus u can have even more fun figuring out the theme and etc..
This is way past 'laziness' and into the land of 'shamfulness'...

this situation is disgusting for me..why to do things like that? maybe eweryone will organise fullmoon,boom and rest of the festivals by themselves and after that going to make tracks as a GMS, Astral Projection cause NAME is not so important.......

Its with ego, as with everything else - Too much or too little, that results in problems - Just enough, and you have a balance.
Often when finding your balance, you top the scales back and forth, untill its just right.
Now, what is ego good for ? Do you know ?
I would say, for one thing, it will help you take care of yourself - Motivate decisions for yourself, and your surroundings which are positive.
Keeping that in mind, I think if someone copys what you create, and what you have invested in - you would be right to complain I think. Also, they would be wrong to profit from other peoples work without in some way paying tribute unless its socially accepted that they do not.
You dont even know if Templar is a part of the polish organizergroup ? Maybe he is just looking out for their best interest... Ego problem huh ? Ego is personal.
I think, what Templar does, that is what we call taking care of each other, and the scene in which we exist.
Granted, there are ego problems in this world - We all have them I think... And most of us solve them just fine without any help from outside - that also is human nature.
I think, the BIGGEST ego problem in the psy scene could become people complaining about other peoples egos Its not freedom to be told you have an ego problem if someone steals from you and you are unhappy with it.
Dude 1 "Hey dude, stop trying to seduce my girlfriend all the time!"
Dude 2 "Shut it! You have a real ego problem dude!"
If people feel they are not being respected or they are being taken advantage off - They need to speak up to others about it, and when they do, they need YOUR support, and not you telling them they have an ego problem, M´kay?
Anyway, best of luck to you with your agumentation on this
Like someone else posted, you are taking this VERY positively... but consider, perhaps someone needs your help making sure stuff like this doesnt happen to them.

You aren`t right, it`s not ego problem but reaction for situation that someone haven`t asked real organizergroup (Toga Dansverg) for rights to name, logo etc.
They steal all concept of festival from their site.
It can not be tolerated, that`s why we are angry and have no respect for them.
Tell people, who wait all the year for their favourite fest that it`s only party like many others and no matter name, work of organizers etc. , how they will react? |

Why people like this festival? -Coz of its name? I don't think so. It is just a party like much other, but u and the organizing make it special and u still will do if it has a different name or if ther is a festival with the same name thousants of kilometers away.
Do u think people from poland will think the brasilian party is where they should go and all people go there and no one comes to the real party?

Hi guys, I maybe offtopic but a few weeks ago one DJ copied my entire biography. He used the same words,sentences.He just changed some personal details like name and age etc. I really don't know what to make of all this, should i laugh, be angry, i really don't know,what do you think? |
