maaaaaaaaaan what a great festival'
thank you bubble and others who made this possible!
there was rain, yes, but still we all had soooooo much fun, everyone smiling on the dancefloor, great moments, meeting people who I havent seen in a long time, etc etc
really sensacional party, even with a labyrinth to get lost while tripping
music wise was quite nice too.. best for me was slater dj set, all the prog crowd smiling and playfull on the dancefloor
btw, if I may give a couple of suggestions to make the party even more perfect for next time:
-make the entrance closer to the party (it could have been in that crossing between going up the hill and to the left into the camping)
-more than one ticket counter (I waited half an hour and thought it was already too much, but then heard some people had to wait 4 hours or more in queue.. this is easily solved by getting more people to work there during peak time)
-more clear info on where the shuttle bus leaves from.. nobody really knew, it wasnt written in the info point, each person said a different thing
thats it.. for the rest, you guys were fking great, not giving up even after all that rain, coming with tractors and putting the hay on top of the mud (great thing'), etc etc.. once again, thanks for the great party' |

it was a a very nicefestival!!
too bad the weather was bad at night, and we had to miss some of the great acts (man with no name). but overall the organization was very good, and i think the Ozora organizers were able to make us all feel better despite of the floading roads.
i have to admit that the food was very very bad !! but we managed to find some fine indian food!
Cosmosis gave a great show, i did not like all his set though, Atmos was GREAT as usual, Era, prometheus, laughing buddha! it was all great!

Critics to the .........!! How hard would it have been to tell the people living in the valley, that ""when it rains the water is going over it's borders, verry fast"".!......±VERRY EASY±!!!
We got so many thing destroyed ,..and for some of us ozora was after that time not a nice comfortable festival anymore!
More light on mainstage would have been Acceptet..and a better nOn closed chillout that makes you WANNA chill... and WHY so loud!!!!!!?
But thx to mother nature for the great location and brilliant artist and of course all of us that made it. With passport and without!
SummaSumarom.... I hate Friture, but i love ozora!!!! |

I had the time of my life. Whenever I think of all the things I have experienced during the last week, I still get goosebumps, and if I had the chance, I would love to turn back the time and experience it all over again, with one major exception, but this is not the place to talk about that
The music was awesome, there was so much good music it's hard to tell you my favs, but I think Atmos and some hungarian DJ called Kraak were the best, closely followed by Ticon, Transwave, Human Blue and some Hungarian DJ called Oleg and a hungarian minimal techno DJ called Steven who played in the chill-out. The aforementioned Human Blue, Kraak, Transwave and Oleg played in that order on Saturday from 13:00 until 20:00, and that timeframe was probly the best day I had at any festival in my entire life. It had rained like crazy during the night of Friday and Saturday, so all music had been stopped, and when it started back up again Saturday morning and the sun was shining, the whole festival exploded. There was just a real special vibe in the air, and everyone played such friendly, sunny and trippy music. First was Human Blue with his usual euphoric style, but then came Kraak, who opened with a remix of Jean Michel Jarre's Oxygene and went on to play real old school goa, like Juno Reactor "Conga Fury", Union Jack "Salamander", Sonic Fusion "Tribal Warrior", then some really melodic full-on, only to go back to some old goa classics. It was a real trip, and I think he ended on IM "Deeply Disturbed". Then Transwave continued the Goa onslaught, and Oleg nicely finished it off before the darkness and Cosmosis mediocre set pulled me back down.
I have been bitching about goa and psychedelic music for a while and retreated to minimal territory, but that day made me remember why I got into the Goa scene in the first place back in the day.
Sunday was kinda rained out as well, but Peter Digital and especially Atmos pulled it all out with the best set I have ever heard him play, it was a perfect mix of his new stuff and all his old classics that he usually doesnt play anymore.
As for the organization of it all, it was great from start to finish, I really have to congratulate the Ozora guys for a wonderful festival. That rain on Friday night actually helped, only because of that the music went through from Saturday to Sunday, usually it was always supposed to stop at 15:30. My suggestion for next year would be to just always keep it going, at least on the weekend, because the afternoon is always the best time at any festival.
Anyways, perfect festival, perfect music, perfect people, not so perfect weather, but who cares?
