Yeah the great thing about Brian is that he dont sound like all the clones in the Full On scene. He's got his own unique sound. About the kick: I think his kick sit perfectly in his tracks. But of course that's because he and I have the same "picture" of sound production and mixing technique.

I must say that this is one of the best full on c.ds released this year.
Jean Borelli, old master of trance is re-teaching us the meaning of the word trance.
While hearing this album, you'll get an oldschool feeling thanks to these funny and interesting psychedelic sounds. The whole album is "streaming". From track 1 (which is my favorite track btw) Jean Borelli is inviting you to join his notion of music. You'll feel like on the back of a horse riding to a far long journey. The rythm is "jumpy", funny, extatic. Orion has not fallen into the new full on genre - which is power music. I'm not saying it is not powerful - it is, but in a softer way. His music is melodic, constantly evolving, changing and certainly interesting. No track ressembles the other and the most important thing - you will remember each track! Meaning there is something special in each track. Remember how you used to remember the old tracks and you could tell the difference? This is the case here.

All tracks are excellent! Especially the first. And as a bonus, you get an ambient track at the end with Raja Ram and his flute.

To sum it up, beautiful album, as I've said before, one of the best releases of this year. Certainly not the kind of c.ds to be forgotten after 2 weeks.

It's called "people have different tastes", and no, there's nothing you can do about it.

after i heard half an hour of his liveact two weeks ago, i got pretty curious and had to check it out closer.
i agree with everything said by nectarios, took the words out of my mouth.
imho:
the tracks are so feelful. a thing that u do not often hear in these days psychedelic trance music (or at least music that gets labeled as such). the progressive elements are genious, very open sound and refreshing in every way, it doesnt lack anywhere. reminds me luminus vs perplex album somehow. mark: 9/10.

to answer to u , i played "fastlane" last week in a party , and i can tell that on a good sound system with this quality of production , it rooooooocks
orion has an amazing and very personal groove , with lots of loops and percussion in the rythmic , an amazing crystal clear production
i really like this album , especially "timeless devotion" , "sleepwalking" , "fast lane " & "ocean of colours"
the only negative point i would add is that it lacks a bit of diversity imo ...
but this is a worth buying album for sure , this is quality full on
well done

This one is quite good but when I was djying one day I played 3 tracks from it and compared to all my other tracks ORION sounded dirty.
But quite good over all.
VERY GOOD GROOVE!

Sorry guys but i found this album to be quite
boring to be honest, yes the production is great and the tracks do tend to be on the grovier side but on the whole it just sounded like good instrumental music...Hm!!, iguess he was playing it safe ...just my opinion

I must have played this 20 times since I picked it up and frankly, only one track ever stands out: Viva Bahamas. It's fine music but nearly all the songs lack some kind of a hook to make them really stand out. Overall it's really quite disappointing because I think we all know just how good Orion's music can be - but this is a little too generic and unadventurous to appreciate as a full album. I notice Solstice has a habit of releasing albums like this - all the same sound, for nearly the entire duration. Perhaps the label is at fault for this rather lacklustre release.
