I had a great time Friday night! Ghreg delivered the darkness as promised. The trancefloor was bouncing and everyone was caught up in the energy. It was a pleasure meeting the ladies who came out from southern California to support. Great news that the word is getting out in Cali! As Carolina pointed out, Phoenix is about the same distance from LA as is San Francisco. Thanks for coming east for Psytrance this time! We hope you come back for another event soon. There will surely be plenty to choose from. Our community is gaining momentum with all the hard work put into it by everyone involved. Thanks to my fellow Ommies for pulling this event off in such a professional and organized manner. A special thanks to the deco crew for putting in the hours of overtime to make the venue look as great as it did. I wish the full vision the deco supervisors had in mind would have manifested, but all things considered, it look fantastic! Props to Hahn and Nick Synergy for keeping the energy up until teardown had to begin at 4am. Necropolis was a success and another stepping stone to achieving a larger PsyTrance scene in Arizona. I was surprised at how many people came from out of town for this event! Probably as many out of towners as locals. I encourage anyone who hasn't been to an Overmind Works event before to check out Aura on November 11 and Mobilization on November 25. And of course, Unity 06 on December 9! |

A really good time was had by all. I haven't stomped that hard in a long time. Thanks to Ghreg on Earth, Stamen, Hahn, and Nick for providing the excellent blend of dark psy and industrial. Thanks to Moksha Mind, Dionysos Pan Eros, and Alien Eye for providing the dark ambient to chill to. It was great meeting all the new faces. kArO, Sierra, Joe, AJ, Xana and Dax, and way too many more to name. Thank you to everyone for coming out. Please join us next month for Aura (November 11th), out next indoor event, and for Mobilization (November 25th), our next outdoor event. Plus, we'll be having Kri and Paradigm out for a stage at Phoenix's Unity '06 party December 9th. Arizona will be the place to get your psytrance fix in the Southwest this winter.

ooh wee!! we had so much fun  thank you OMW!! i really enjoyed the industrial/ebm before GhregOnEarth. it had been a few years for me & i had the nice surprise of that craving satisfied when we arrived at the paper heart. Ghreg's set was awesome... love the sounds of organized chaos & broken glass. the deco was cool & the alters very, very beautiful. who made those?? i especially liked seeing the dead bread on the alter. very proper for the upcoming day of the dead. it was wonderful to meet up with the AZ psy familia. thanks for the hospitality travis, eli, ghreg, lunch & dinner.. meow... thanks for the warm reception micah  once we said hello i knew we were home. treva, thank you for the spanking. nick, thank you for treva  and the bangin' set which i had to leave during because i was falling over tired. looking forward to future gatherings.. especially outdoors. the natural scenery is beautiful. until the next trance dance! special thank you to sierraluna without whom this weekend would not have been possible. pure love. kArO |
