when psydude said old is crap new is gold, its true.for example i consider the 90's psyheads, like me,we said 80's tech & electro were crap and opted, adopted for a higher bpm in the early 90's.lota experimenting were happening.
Then came the isreali Rave-o-lution.
145 bpm became the base bpm.which killed lota european dance music and made it as couch music or to be played at home to chill.
good or bad, lota mixed opinion from where i come.but to be honest,i enjoyed it to the max for like 2-3 years.before it became a big cheese ball & burst, not exploded.
then the isrealiens tried their luck with higher bpm which was great but short success.
at this time since the wave was carried towards night-ish,148-ish,Digital Talk-ish kinda sounds.
This was the fall of isreali full-on.new craze for night time full on was on.darker artist were incharge now.
this made way to the dawn of the aussie morning music scene.new dimensions & directions were opened.was very colorful.sundance records was at its peak! Then came low bpm aussie dark tek-trance.Ummmmm tasty, still is!sad they never had many dark artist with full bloom.i guess it's the outbacks, which did that to their style of music.
so the whole wave went towards the parent continent (EU).
Then came sounds from US of A!IMO worst music ever in psytrance history.they killed the soul of psy, like everything else they lay their hands on!
some where amongst all this was happening, the indian sub continent saw its fair share of artists, both morning & night & all in between.but none dedicated,as our democracy works like that.no support from govt side.everything expensive even a basic college.cant make enuf money for that thru electro music,at least in india.
few artists where there who come from the more comfortable side, financially.but never became psy music oriented and went mainstream, cause red bull will only give em money if the get to see girls in high heels.cause these boys wanted media coverage and opened a new chapter in psytrance called "Photo Shoot Trance".
To be Cont.

So,photo shoot trance is popular in indian sub continent now.it has retained the bpm levels from 2002,may go a little up sometimes.but anything more than 148 doesnt suit that typa music.so it remains that way and not very popular for night time as it needs flash, for the picture to come properly.so mainly monotonous morning juice, mixed between friends.
This leaves us chronic nocturnal insomniac psyheads to move away from all those Public Private Parties and wander into the woods in search of the real deal.this is how it all started,in various cities and its surrounding farms.so back to square1,which is good to retrace the roots and see where it all went wrong.
This is a fun, interesting but tedious work.which we are ready to do,to get back the essence of the original RAVE culture.we all nearing 40,so we need new blood to do the field work for us and we become supervisors!
These young jedis have way too much energy than what we started from.Raw,experimental, far out & very deep kinda attitude,we are talking about here.
They are tachycardiac so is their music.its their time now,we respect that.cause its us they learnt it all from.
Thats Hitech, not name of the music but how we are trying to bring back the real psy stories back to life after a short hiatus.
Welcome to the new age music, sit back & enjoy the ride.

.....more on this soon.
