I like the India Climate in this, nice samples, but all other is way too fast. Undancable. At 145 would be nice. At that tempo it is rather funny IMO. It's just my opinion no hate. The whole music could be really nice and enjoyable, take just the pingpongs out and than it'S fine.           https://soundcloud.com/shivagarden

never.
if it was crap, these pieces of the "future" would not just be a faster copy of 1995. but 1000 thanks for reminding me to close this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WxsnDiw6xms, to close the whole forum future on the edge thingy, to download shpongle on my iphone and to go to the nearby forest to enjoy life with old gold.

the only thing that worries me, is how to say thanks to all the people of the old gold whose music i did not buy. this is not a good karma.

Back in the 90's there was Gabba...similar high tempo stuff that myself and friends laughed at.

My only thought is that back then the scene was healthy with good output and quality, maybe if there is 'room' for this genre again it's a good sign on the state of repetitive beat dance music??

I will steer clear myself again however           Global Cooling is the new panic for the masses

Just my 2 paisa

I think the track is nice and fresh for hitech, although it might appeal more to me being indian, especially since we hear these mantras in temples, ceremonies etc. in our everyday lives.

It strikes a real special chord when we hear them in psytrance tracks/parties where i am already at a much deeper connection with the beats. It gives a nice peaceful spiritual vibe.

Still great track ..... its unique for being so melodic and clean sounding for the hi tech realm. Lot is possible artists just need time to apply themselves.           "Whoever said the best things in life are free... obviously grew their own bud"

It's alright. imo there's nothing crappy about either this or the 90's stuff. Both have their place in this scene. Early Sandman works like Natural Born Killer IMO set the framework for some of this hi tech stuff. I definitely have heard his influence in an old Nabo Records track, it was by Datakukt vs Infect Insect...           Cuntus Maximus.

The idea is quite good but the sounds could be so much better.

It is not about who has a place in the scene. For my part, I did unterstand very well 5 years ago that there is no place in the scene for me simply because I did not like the ppl or the vibe at the partys anymore and although I did have close friends , still had great conversations, enjoyed the music and loved dancing, it was not enough against the "modern vibe". So I stopped going, like many others, and then just said some "stupid things" in isratrance and went "forever". Very happy that I stopped - one have to have the wisdom to distinguish if he can change things he does not like and if not.

The point is that of course I found new contexts for enjoying trance - at home, while working, while doing sports, while meditating, or even alone with the software. I never stopped. And I do not want anyone to tell me that it was crap. Simply because I stopped going to the partys does not mean it was because the music was crap. And like I do not care in what year the moonlight sonata was written and just hear it, the same way, good trance music will be good in 30 years too. Bad one will not be that immortal.

I totally agree. I too have stopped going to parties. Havent been to one in more than 2 years. The last one I went too in Goa really fucked my head. Not that the music was bad it was great, we had some really great international artist. However the crowd these days believe me they start acting weird on this kind of music. Very bad vibes. Many of the proper party goers just moved away. I am not saying the music is bad its nice but then you cant do much with it. You just have to act like your electrocuted. Just my opinion.

Mushrooms make you do crazy stuff. Look at Mario he jumps on animal heads and fights with dragons.

I havn't been to a party for 10 years....er, that's a lie, i went to the RTTS re-union last year....fuckin awesome, ManMadeMan destroyed the place

Everyone looked really old!!

I have no idea what it would be like at a 'psytrance' party with 250bpm but i still buy/listen to 138ish bpm stuff and that feels good for me.

Hope in 30 years people will still be making this!!           Global Cooling is the new panic for the masses

In my case it was not 5 years either, my last one was a festival with some goa from the 90s which I actually found surprisingly good - it was the best vibes since lots of years. Great people, lots of old friends, lots of side programm for mind and spirit. Later on I opened a forum and read a couple of thousands of posts that ppl want their money back and that the organizer was a criminal. I guess it was only the few friends that I must have enjoyed, so i guess it will be my last one too - 2011.
At the moment the only person who reminds me of the good old days is my friend who was djing and doing music in the middle of the 90s, with 18 back then in Hamburg. Today he can't hear about trance parties either. Like almost everyone that I know. It seems to be a psychological barrier, an intuitive intuition to better not hand around with the people of nowadays. Never trust a hippie...someone said

But still, some seem to like it
