For the darkpsy artists or whatever they call their looks or the look of their myspace or official websites, they use satanic images, with heavy vibes and low frequences, I hope you don't erase my post I simply want to learn more, and I can see that here there are many darkpsy lovers and I would like someone to explain why if GOA GIL who is a very spiritual person doesn't use negative stuff and he plays darkpsy.
As I said, I would like to learn more, so why do they use violent images? do they live with hate? 
So what they try to express with their music is: LIVE IN HATE?

Also I think darkpsy or more generically night music is more connected to obscurity or sinister events, as is the night itself. Darkness brings the fear (or the doubt) of not knowing what is in front of you, or who is by your side. The music tries to explore this kind of aspect.
Also the devil/skulls/etc is something to scare people who can't stand this kind of image, so they avoid the music without even listeing to it just because the CD itself has something printed on it that they can't stand.
And more commonly this is only a marketing issue, labels/artists using these images to show how "cool" or "evil" or "really underground" they are, when in fact the music should speak for itself. People will come to this thread with many arguments, like "fractals and sunrises are also marketing", and all sort of stuff, so you'll have to try to filter the bullshit, including this one in my post. My point is that I like artcovers that present some artistic touch and is connected to the music present on the release.
Many of those who say they like psy, dark, goa or whatever spend a lot more money on all sort of drugs than they do on music, so think about it and figure out what they really love.

i think that violence is more more asossieted with rage and hate.. and that the music is more about fear as the same as the pics they use.
and don't think the message is to live with fear.. the message i get is ''face your fears''

The darpsy comin out dese days ...particularly those from places like mexico n the Balkans.....use these devilish,hateful violent imageries ......
its sorta goin the way of black metal.....dnt like it.....somehow people r (wrongly) connecting darkpsy with evil,rage etc....

Dark psy = Night time music = mistic vibes and the exploration of your deepest self
Skulls and all that fucked up bullshit haves absofuckinglutelly nothing to do with the music, somewere along the line the concept of Night music mutated to this actual sea of garbidge of misconceptions.
