But JL, the killer line-up of Spectral Gate was not a killer line-up for the so-called 'new crowd' that is following the latest trend. Human Blue is hardly known to these people, Hux Flux a little more, and El Audio probably the best known (if only because Child has been overplayed to exhaustion), which is weird 'cause they're not such household names abroad (El Audio I mean).

And remember, on the same day, there was a party with Neuromotor, a name which attracts a bigger crowd of newcomers, and therefore that party was much more packed with people.

So I think Spectral Gate had the things to attract a not so-new crowd...which it sadly didn't...sadly because you hardly get to see these artists down here, instead GMS are playing here just about every other day...           the greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist....

What I heard is that the other party that happend that same day, was not packed att all, no more than 600 ppl.

I see things in a bit different way. Spectral had 3 international live acts, VOR and Feio...for sure that atracts newcomers. If you add the public of both the parties, there were no more than 1100 ppl. Many parties alone had much more than that...           I don't believe in God, I believe in the Underground

Usualy progressive is played during most of the night, and at the afternoon, leaving sunrise and the morning to full on...As we all know this is the time the party is packed. I think most people prefer to arrive very late in the night exactly to listen to the sound they like the most, wich is full on. The public itself has restricted progressive to those times.

Think for some time... that happens in full-time full on parties also, right? Yes, right. Even when there´s no progressive, people arrive late in the night.
So, what´s your explanation for that?

I didn't get you point. If it's the "ultimate trend", why there weren't enough people? Spectral gate had all the componets to atract a huge crowd, specialy those who are newcomers...

If you read carefully what I wrote, you´ll notice that I said that these people just can´t tell a good party from a bad party. Spectral Gate had VOR and Feio, ok, but you can listen to them almost every week in Sao Paulo! The ticket for SG was not a cheap one, and if the "newcomers" just can´t distinguish Human Blue from Human League , then you have a problem.
Got it?

When it's only full on, the best DJs/Projects are usually scheduled for the morning. Probably because of that. But since only full on parties are not very commom, ppl created an habit to arrive by the time the best sound is being played.

Allright, reading carefully now I do get what you, the other msg was a bit confused.

I think SG had indeed atractives to anyone. 3 "gringos" at the same party, no mather who they are, is pretty impressive to a new buddy on the scene, don't you think?           I don't believe in God, I believe in the Underground

Although I don´t agree, going any further with this discussion would be like discussing the angels´ gender, so, nevermind... You´ll keep on saying that "full on is the best music" when I am not even going to that point.

Full on or progressive is just a matter of personal taste. There are good and shitty tracks in both styles.

That's not what I meant...Just saying that most of ppl prefer full on, and that's a fact.
