Haha my friend Conor was in charge of the chai and chocolate booth. I guess Porter fell hard into the booth and slammed into a rock on the ground hahaha! Wow. And then I came to the booth and Conor told me the whole story. It was so funny. After they told me the story I think I saw Porter running through the water on the left side of the dance floor. Liz was scared and she thought he was going to come back. She asked me " what is he doing, hes going to pop out at us! " hahaha man this party was so amazing! I need more!

I would try to tell porter's story about the evildoers chasing him into the creek and over the barbed wire fence, after which he returned to earth minus 1 shoe, 1 dinosaur, 1 nose ring, some skin, and some blood... but I can't do it justice. You will have to hear it from offendo himself at the next one, and if you know the man you know it will be a treat

Btw, thanks to sivan for keeping him alive!

I arrived too late to catch the show, but son after the sun came up I spied the dino wet and languishing on the side on the creek.

LOST KITTY! Gray zipper bag somewhere on the dance floor =^..^=

In addition to the fun party, props to the lovely location - absolutely worth the drive from San Fiasco!           Saturnia

OMG hilarious! Rave Zombie - that story is too funny.

I didn't get to see any of that, well I was there, just not paying attention to anything but the music hahaha (dances with her eyes closed). But I heard all about it and I must say it didn't surprise me - it isn't quite the party without the crazies

Again I had a blast, so nice to see all of you!

When is the next one??? hahaha           Dance like no one is watching

Haha! That is epic! He ripped out his nose ring? Well he seemed happy on the dance floor in the morning. What a story! Probably the best party I have been to in the psy scene... Wow... Too good.

Me too! Wow, for a fry phreak, that "Dash is a Jerk" can tell a good tale! I'm having trouble believing all this was going on right in front of me. I was only away from the dancefloor a few hours... twice during the night. I guess I pick uneventful times to stomp? I do, however, have independent confirmation of the naked guy running from the dancefloor who goes by the name of Andy even if I did miss the RAVE-Zombie and the dinosaur. I am waiting for Dash's report of the Were-Andy! I left the dancefloor about a half hour into Karesh's set, say around 4:30? At 2:40 earlier I was dancing to Makkura having missed Dai's and most of Tom's sets while being absolutely sober up to this point and well rested. Yep, I had no excuse for napping before dawn! I saw part of Conor's set, all of Julie's, and the very beginning of Limbertimber when I decided to to take a break and get something to drink. Yes, a little nappy that went spiralling out of control into my party time. I returned before 2 to see Tom's set end. I danced until at 2:40 when I briefly left to imbibe in a new to me substance. Oh yeah, I like the explanation of needing three of them to make sure that I get the full experience! Aye, that'd be about right as research did conclude later that day. Anyways, I left at 4:30 AM to seek the shelter of my camper and apparently missed a lot of the fun that was unfolding and most of Karesh's set. At least I got to stomp to Bodhi.

I stayed hidden from view until dawn approached. It was then I decided it was time be out with the people again and continue with the mission of having a good time and sharing it with all I meet. I heard laughter and went in its direction. I was feeling quite incredible in this peak I was in and just passing. The beautiful morning and all the happiness around, it was just an amazing dawn. The guy at the Weather Control Bureau had really done his part for us all. The laughter was coming from these two girls standing by a pick up truck just up from my campsite. As I approached, I noticed that a picnic table was in the middle of the dirt road through our camp and a guy was sitting on it bemoaning his fate about something he'd done earlier. This guy, Andy it turns out is his name, is fairly distraught over something he'd done and I was in such a happy mood that we just had see what would give when two such opposite worldviews collide. He says outloud to no one in particular that he can't believe he'd done what he'd done. As I was just passing his place and drawing nearer to the girl's pick up truck, I heard what he said quite clearly. So I stopped and asked what did he do? I mean, it was a beautiful morning, even the birds were chirping and dancing to the sounds of psytrance in the morning just after dawn. He says he stripped naked on the dancefloor and ran into the forest! I'm not too sure what to make of this claim as he's fully dressed just sitting there at the table. When I stopped to ask my question it also got the girls' attention, who, when they heard him say this, recognized him! And confirmed that indeed it was him that ran naked on the dancefloor. So Andy gets up and joins us around the pick up truck while we're swapping stories of the goings on. They offer me some food to eat, but I was just not able to do it, so back to my camp I went to get what always works... Candy. It's one of the food groups, I guarantee it! This goes well with the girl that had offered me the food, and I had enough to share and some more too to leave there with them to guard. That's right, they surrounded it! It felt so good to have Mounds for her, a person I had never met until right then. It is sometimes the simplest things that can be so overwhelmingly emotional when one is high as I was and yet not beyond into that place where the walls have no corners and you can only go forward. Their food was liked by Zach and some others that joined up with us. We were becoming a small gathering in and of ourselves just hanging out. This was between the firepit and the brick restrooms. When I had arrived Saturday things were just getting set up. Bodhi greeted me warmly at the gate and was happy to see me. This always makes me happy and is why I look forward to the gatherings. I remember some of the people getting rocks to create the firepit. I was just thinking about fire and me staying away from the heat as it seemed like we'd not be needing much heat because of how unseasonably warm it was for mid November even if we were in the mountians. It was near a hundred degrees when I drove there along the coast. The fires were raging further north. I was wondering if some of the people coming from the north would even be able to get here for the gathering as the fires might close the major highways. Anyway, this was my thinking as I need it a few degrees cooler than most people to have the same comfort zone. Inefficient dancing technique makes me radiate a lot of heat. Teach me to levitate! Later, when I observed the fire and the care being taken to manage and maintain it I came to realize that the fire had its own adherents and it wasn't just for any warmth it might be providing. The girl with the dreads had been tending the fire a lot and was finding the rocks earlier too. That was one round circle. Like drawn with a compass, so perfect a circle of rocks. The guy with the markings on his face was there tending it too, and a few others. Too much heat for me, especially after the sun came up, but I was able to admire their fire doings all the same. I had left the merry group by the pick up truck determined to get back to the dancefloor in time for Dylalien. I had lost my sense of time. When I got to the dancefloor Lauryn vs Egbot were in control and had plenty of time to play. I was still very dazed and feeling great. I just walked onto the dancefloor and was standing there feeling the vibe of the music and seeing what part of me would start moving and get me dancing when I noticed I was standing right next to Dylan, aka Dylalien. Cool! I had only met him once before at the TripleCancerMoon gathering Bodhi had organized a few months back. I still have not found his spaceship. He either parks it in a very secluded place, or he gets beamed down. That music defies logic, and it is fun to dance and listen to while being crazy and relentless. He has no trouble with my peaked condition and in fact says his set is made just for the occasion, while he reminds me that everyone that is supposed to be here, will be here. Words of wisdom when one is feeling that way, you might know what I mean as you've made the same observation yourself. I have a few of my own sayings that I bestow upon him. Here we are in the middle of a psychedelic trance dancefloor having a philosophical discussion about me being high and how things are for the best because we are indeed there to be having this conversation because we're supposed to be there. I was not able to hold up my end of the conversation as eloquently as I might've liked to, but this was just a great morning and was all good. Dylan starts his set and I'm post peak but feeling good. Shamalli, shamalli, shamalli.. I am tripping then it just goes from there and I don't even realize the time is gone. This means I had such a good time I can't remember it. Music just flows through me when this happens. It's great, but I can't remember. Only a few rock songs ever do this to me, but with psytrance it happens with songs I might not ever hear again in my life. I find this amazing. It is so different from how I have listened to music almost my entire life. Even if fleeting, it is one the best things about music that I know of. I had not considered dancing might make the experience more likely to happen. I am still not sure if drugs help or hinder it in myself. I know for sure that the people I am around when this happens are a big part of it happening or not for me. If anything, some drugs might help me focus or even isolate me in some ways that might make the experience better. Others seem to make me more emphatic and emotionally attached to my surroundings and fellow dancers. Soberity can work too, but I like the sensation of being high if I feel I'm in a good space for it and won't be called upon to offer assistance that I won't be able to render. And yes, I did get the wire back from the guy that locked his keys into his car. That seems to happen a lot. I've done it many times, so now I carry the key around my neck.
Hmm.. oh yeah, yeah, yeah, I digress a lot when I ramble, er, ah, write. Around this time Andy comes back and breaks my dancing reverie by exclaming, "There they are!" while reaching down to the ground on the right side of the dancefloor with all those rocks and picks up a pair of torn pants. It seems he really did strip on the dancefloor and wasn't making the story up. Get 'im, Dash! I'm rooting for you.

Beginning Part 2 of 2

Wichdokta came on. What a change from Dylalien. He made a clean break and I liked his first music that he played. I liked a lot more of it, but I danced to it at my campsite. As I was leaving the dancefloor maybe a half hour into wichdokta's set I came across Dylan. He was absolutely right about his music and its effect upon me for how I was feeling at the time and I told him so. I asked about the beginning. He had a story for the shamalli, but I've done forgotten the details of it. I hate when that happens! I guess he put the psychedelic in psychedelic trance? I'm back at the campsite dancing to wichdokta for an hour or so, then I take a nappy. I awaken to something I was thinking I'd not hear, progressive or something like it. I meander over to the dancefloor and sure enough it really is coming from the speakers. There's a few hardy souls at it and I join them. It might be slower beats, but if you dance to it it can be good for you too. Really into the body kind of feeling. At this time I'm kind of tired, but this makes it good. And since I danced a lot less than I normally do when I'm around psytrance I am not as fatigued as I know I could be in the afternoon. It's around four O' Clock and I have to be going. I head back to the campsite as another DJ takes over. Yep, more psytrance, so I get to stomp while packing. As I'm leaving I see Bodhi. He is in good spirits. This makes me happy, just because it does, but also because I know the amount of stress organizing something like this has got to cause someone, with so many things to think about and take care of and dealing with things that don't work out. He seems to have the right temperment for this kind of gathering and we were the right kind of people to come and enjoy it even if we didn't know it until we were there and did it, as Dylan pointed out to me. Bodhi sends me on my way feeling happy. I realize after I'd gone a few miles that I'd forgotten to wish him a happy anniversary as he'd mentioned it in the postings for this gathering. I did see him and Rachel at the Coda club for Dai's farewell party a couple of days ago and did have them both by me so I got to say it after all. And this made it possible for me to hear and dance to Dai who I'd missed at Recrystallization. I hope he and Vasily had a good time in New York. I'll certainly be wanting him to came back from Japan to play for us again, though I suppose I might just have to make the trip if he stays away too long.

Thank you for having this gathering and inviting me to be a part of it. I was so looking forward to it and am glad I was able to be there. For a one night event I did a lot more socializing than I have in the past. Lots of great and friendly people to hang out with. One thing I like about getting there early is getting a good spot to hear the music even when I'm away from the dancefloor.

Disclaimer: If I didn't use your name, but you recognize yourself and know that you introduced yourself to me and yet I didn't use your name, it is because I have forgotten it. I've been trying to do better, but it's something I have trouble with. I have a very good memory and yet have trouble remembering something like a name. It's related to Alzheimer's, I think it's called Oldtimer's, though in my case it is something I've had since I was kid, just like having grey hair since second grade.

I missed seeing Porter? He's a right nice guy for an evil clown. I am very much wanting to hear his tale about the doings and carryons he was in on.           - - -
