San Diego? Yes, that'd be way far for me up here in Santa Ana. A fairly close drive for you though. Right up the 15 to the 76. Easy drive. You ought to be able to get someone to go with, but I like the idea of the first time you drive somewhere it's to a psychedelic trance gathering.  You might not want to mention that to the rental agency. Then again, maybe you should. I get some interesting questions about it when I say what I'm doing during the weekend when asked. I always ask the questioner if they'd like to go. It is amazing the misconceptions of these gatherings that people have that haven't been to one.
I am still planning on going. I was almost blinded this morning while sleeping! My eye is OK, but it was close. An unusual way to wake up with your face and eye covered in blood. Assuming the cuts don't get infected and require me to see a doctor, I'll be there. Not one of them cats is copping a plea to it, either. When John saw all the blood, he thought the eye was knocked out of the socket. Scary to look at. Eye shut with the socket covered in blood and some smeared on my face or dripping down. Just missed Halloween! Nope, just two cuts on the eyelid covering the eyeball and under the brow and a couple scratches on my nose. Lots of blood for awhile. I suppose it is a good thing the claw that did the deep cut was the one on the brow as it might've been able to tear through the lid and get to my eye had it been the other way around.
Three more days, what else is happening?

Really, really excited about this party as it might be the last outdoor of the season.
The music's going to be stellar and the campground is top notch.

so.....when I partied at the Elysium fest (June, 08) the creek was running wild, full and hearty....all kinds of people were swimmin and tubin naked and having a great time!!
then the whole "bad economy" and "water shortage" thing started settling in..... the creek, which is controlled by the Lake Henshaw reservoir dam, closed its spillover in August. to turn it on again would be to cut through a bunch of red tape, including a 3500$ fine from the county.
so we of Psycircle are sorry to have mislead you, we were mislead as well when I made an agreement with the natives back in August of this year:( stupid water shortage!
oh well. we will party there again in the spring and summer when they "turn it on" again.

I've been looking around other party boards/lists around the net; and I feel obligated to warn you all that THIS PARTY HAS BEEN POSTED EVERYWHERE. I don't know if it was any organized effort, but everywhere I look I see mention of this.

again, I want to re-iterate that YOU MUST USE FIREFOX OR SAFARI TO VIEW THE WEBSITE ....dont use internet explorer.... that browser causes other problems anyways (like viruses) not a good browser to use
also.....presales closed thursday night, so if you dont have a presale then best you can do is come in a carpool (which is 25$ a person) and save 5 bux.
