This is the best reason I could come up with to post this video, yet it could be interesting to know what music that's not Trance music but still manages to induce the the effects...

there is too much non-trance music to list that puts me in trance. life is a trance these days anyways.

yeah, sadly true,lol.
if you mean psy trance i´d say tangerine dream (or in general berlin school arpeggio orgys) put me into trance before psy (and other styles) came to life.

interesting selections.
here's another one by the Chemical Brothers, heard this around the same time as the first psytrance records, but somehow this one had always been able to launch my head further into orbit...
has some elements of goatrance too.

i think that any music can put you into trance as long as you play it yourself.
only criteria: repetitiveness and no cheesy emotions.
...even two stones and a stick in a forest where you happen to be without electronics and sophisticated instruments.
