We all know that there are artists who make non psychedelic tunes pretending to be psychedelic.... wit the some heavy basslines and some supercool fx & synth work they think they r making psychedelic music but just cuz the ingredients are same doesnt mean all possible recepies/concoctions would taste the same ,infact wouldnt even belong to the same cuisine .
I'll name a few which i think dnt belong in psychedelic :
1) all new trax by skazi
2) a no. of void trax (spontaneous combustion)
3) infected mushroom after converting vegitarians . (wel i guess they converted themselves after that)
4) mafia - sleeping with fish / world destruction
5) Toxic - toxic rmx
Bein an avid music lover, i dnt think these tracks r not danceable nor do i hate them.
But they do not belong in the psychedelic category. your views ------ agree , disagree or more tracks/ artists about which u feel the same

Because they are recycling boring ideas... IMHO. Psychedelic music is about innovation.

about Skazi and void. Its been talked 10000 times here, its commercial Trance.pure psychedelic trance can not be commercial. Void are terrible, skazi is nothing more than nice.

It's so ****king simple that you'd have to be braindead not to see this.
1. Every music has bad tracks. No matter what genre or what artist. It's normal, it's life, just live with it.
2. We have online music shops, so you can listen to whatever stuff you maybe wanna buy and check it out before you get it. That way you'll be satisfied with most of your purchases.
Look, I know people like to moan about stuff. I do too, it's perfectly natural. But to moan about commercialism in this music is getting old now. We all know there are artists out there who obviously want to take a walk in the mainstream side of things. And as much as I hate them for it, there's a point where it gets tedious to read topic after topic of discussions about it. So let's keep it to a minimum shall we?

Imo void are the new Nitzhonot. psy but in a bad way.Imo the only original CC music is from SKAZI: He is the one who developed it and all the CC artists make the same s---t. all but exaile.

Nice topic indeed. 
For me it's more or less as simple as this (Though my thoughts are never simple).
1. psychedelic drugs & psychedelic trance go hand in hand. (Do the math kids, and deal with it)
2. before, we used to have drugged out, peace, love and unity people, running around crazy in their head, making trippy music, for trippy people on trippy drugs. This was all natural, because as we who have tried psydrugs know. (See point 1.)
3. Psytrance, Goa or "Isratrance" (which used to have it's proud name) became ever so POPular in Isreal, kids began listening to this music. Nothing wrong about that. But these kids who loved Infected Mushroom, Astral, Astrix ect ect ect ect. wanted to make "psy"trance by them self! Soooo.. that they could also be among the "stars" of psyacts. Many of these kids did just this. They Got Cubase, made copy music of their "heroes" (who mostly made far out trippy music) ... But something went wrong in the prosess with most of the new generation of psycreaters. "They didnt understand the true meaning of a psychedelic understanding" (who does?), and as posted so nicely by Loki1,

And who can disagree? Just because your making a track with strange noises and FX doesnt mean you'v made a "KIIILLAARRGGHHH!!!!!!" psychedelic trance track.
Many may succeed, and have the talent, taste and/or "luck" to make a psychedelic track. But what is a psychedelic trance track? Many say this and many says that. But in the end, it's all about putting the listener in another world while beeing effected by a psychedelic substance. I got the feeling that Full-On as we call it is just a new form of trance. I belive that everything is getting more and more influenced by "psychedlica" .. Man, just look at Britneys track.. Whats it called (askes some straight people at work) "Toxic". It may not be psychedelic, but go to the forum on Infected-Mushroom.com .. And the isrealien kids there are claiming it is. influenced in some sorts.. Yes, maybe. But psychedleic? NO! This is what I mean. "They" belive they know what Psy is about, but dont understand shit. Because they dont do psychedleic drugs, or have never tried. (kids, dont do drugs, do psychedelics)
I lost my self now.. umm.. Well. .. . .
Ah yeah, Full-On, the new form of (euro)trance.
Thats it.
PS. Just because you dont like the track, doesnt mean it's not psychedlic, and the other way around for that matter.
PS 2: As mentioned before in the review thread of Hypermoney's new commercial bullocks. Forgett about the new un-psytrance acts, and try to support the one's who actually makes psytrance today.
PS 3: I dont care if the "new generation" makes good quality muisc or not. Because psychedelic trance is about making the person listening on a psydrug .. .Well.. Trip out on the sounds, moods and atmophere. Erez old project with Jorg (Shiva Shipadu) sucked in quality, but was filled up with psychedelic elements. And thats what it's all about.
PS 4: Skazi is psytrance, but not psychedlic trance, it's psycho trance. I liked his first two albums, the rest is just resicle of what the kids liiked best about it. Money money money money money money money money. . .Did I mention Money. 
PS 5: Infected's new music is some what bad, but still not B:A:D. But it is poor. I'v never tripped on the newest album, or CV for that mather. But I have tripped alot on Classical and Gatherin (and shiva shipadu) .. And I tell you this. IM was the kings of Mushroom tripped out music!

A drop of water on a quit lake, is psychedelic.
I'm going home, smoke a joint (I'm sorry Green channel) and listen to a psychedleic chill (OTT) album. Because mostly, it's the chill acts that manages to make really psychedelic music.
Oh .. The majorety is mostly wrong, and the majority of psytrance fans are not that crazy about true psychedelic trance.
Really! I think I speak the truth.
