Hi Nectarios,

..i know that the last 1 1/2 year breaks are getting more popular, specially in the non trance like progressive (half 12'' that are being released last year have 1 breakbeat track and 1 4/4) plus labels like these you mentioned.. here in Greece isn't getting so popular as abroad. I think ppl hear still like alot (incl. my self) the 4/4 thing. even throu the new breaks as they call it might make it to the ppl cause is much more danceble and can be very easy beatmixed with 4/4 tracks. ppl here are getting rough by letting them selfs into something new so you have to be patient. mayby you wanna propose a few breakbeat compilations or 12'' that are close to trance...
cheers

Has 'breaks' to do anything with drum n bass music?

If yes then breaks its not exactly my cup of tea.
Its much faster than trance and i really cant dance to it not to mention enjoying it.After some time it seems all repetitive to me you know.I still ofcourse enjoy some tracks like The Invisible Man-You Dont Know or Adam F-Cyrcles.

10 Kilo by the way is a sublabel of TIP World for those that dont know it

Getting way off topic here - but the mistake lots of people make when trying to dance to D&B is to follow the Drums - don't, they're too fast!! Follow the bass - you'll enjoy it a lot more!

Hey mister, the music u are searching for called Progressive brakes and its a style they usualy play in progressive house partys. I think its something for the english people, in Greece they have other music tastes.
I was dissapointed when i was in Uk and asked about progressive trance!!!!!

also total eclipse have a whole breakbeat album
It is called access denied and it was released at blue room records.
In thessaloniki there are a few djs who play at popular bars of the city who add many breakbeat elements into their sets , but i haven't heard of a club night dedicated to it. There is also a label called relax records but they are more electro 80's influenced the new wave way than the grandmaster flash way.

there is prog trance in the uk.here they call prog trance the scene in which john oo fleming plays and christopher lawrence.
and belive me they are releasing lots of deep
stuff as well ,check nitro by christopher lawrence or some oliver lieb stuff.this is prog trance as the commercial world know it.
and its getting good.platipus can also release some killers some times.blu yonder are good as well.
for new school breaks or prog breaks check
stuff by stir fry and dylan rhymes and force mass motion, killer breaks.accetate is a good
breaks label one side breaks the other prog hse or tec hse.and as kiou said both prog hse and tec are being mixed with prog breaks
