Hi Ppl,
I know this is a bit early but I was wondering if there is any information on festivals during this coming New Years.
I am mainly interesteted in Central & South America
Any one know's anything????

A friend of mine played there last NYE.
He said it was his best festival ever !

i truely recomend this festival...
Universo Paralello 04/05:dancing half naked, amazing beach beautiful people, warm water,great food(fresh seafood with beer for breakfast,fresh handmade pasta,sushi),yamyam....
There was great acts like Tristan,James monro,Penta,Dio,Paulo Lopes that save the party.Also the music in the chillout was amazing.
Despite most times the music was not for my taste i consider a great festival .

the sonpax does look nice but for some reason im under the impression that parties in brazil tend to have a better atmosphere

UP is definetly one of my favorite fest. I have already been to many festivals in brazil and overseas (mainly europe). I have also heard good stories about the SA NYs festivals. As for mexico I have also heard several of the "mexican bad adventures" people had their. Atmosphere in brasil is perfect for foreigners who are up for it, the people are friendly and helpfull.
But... Im up for SA this NY, try something new for a change

Dear Neutron, I know the universo paralelo is possibily, the best NYE festival, byt i dony know why did say, o what does it mean "mexican bad adventures", but the NYE party in CanCun (Son Pax) is pretty good, you should come to see how the mexican trance scene is, and not just talk for talk¡

It´s not only because of the party it self.
But also, because it´s brazil dudes! One of the most beatyfull places in the world! 
And about the girls... no coment at all...

people are praising Universo Paralello a bit too much imo...
yeah its a nice party, with beautiful girls and good music.. but organization is not the best ever (lack of shadows for example.. you foreigners be warned: its f*cking hot.. bring those big ´gazebo´ shadow tents, lots of sunblocking lotion etc, because the artificial shadows the organization sets up is very little), and it´s not so ´hippie-vibe, we´re not commercial´...
just telling this so you dont go hoping for a perfect party when you come... But yeah, expect, as I said, a nice festival in a nice place, nice people, beautiful girls, and good music....
as long as you dont come expecting ´perfect´, then it´s sure to be a blast |

showers always had lack of water problems
lack of shadows..
the chill out speakers were saturating
food is too expensive
they dont sell big water bottles, and each small water bottle costs 2 reais!!
the water for the shower stinks, and many people had to go to the hospital because they brushed their teeth with it, swallowed a little bit accidentaly and it was contaminated (I suspect the water for the bathroom goes to the ´mangue´, and its the same ´mangue´ where the water from the shower is taken from, except from a different location, but the same mangue)
so no, its not perfect... Its pretty good, but it has its bad parts |
