I would like to get new monitors this summer.
The budget is ~1500 euros for pair.
What would you recommend?
Maybe there are some good new models on the market? Don't want to get second-hand monitors for some reason... All other equipment - no problem, but not monitors
I have Alesis M1 Active Mk2 currently and want something better (but not louder).

What don't you like about the O300s? What would you be looking for in your next monitors that the O300s don't give you?
I'm considering a pair of PMC TB2S-AII, and would be interested in hearing comments from anyone who is familiar with them. The O300s are also intriguing.

nice thread on the topic:
http://www.gearslutz.com/board/high-end/622733-event-opal-vs-pmc-tb2s-aii-vs-neumann-o300-vs-focal-twins.html
however, to make it a little bit more fun (and confusing hehe) i just bought some geithain rl 904 used two weeks ago and have to say that i am REALLY happy with them.
it is a german brand mainly producing products for tv broadcasting. they are not so well known as K&H but many people (in germany) think they outperform k&h. if you have a chance to listen to geithain speakers hit them! they are very very highly resolving with an exceptionally good and far spaced stereofield where you can pinpoint the sounds in the space, an intriguing listening experience!!

Yes Zork, please tell us more about the Neumann o 300, they do look interesting, how do they sound?
What I am really looking for is the most neutrality one can get for a pair of speakers in that price range. A lot of people (IM is no exception) praise the Dynaudios, I would like to hear more about them too, anyone?
@ Pom, I have a sub.
