Missed Yidam  because of Transportation

Then Steve OOOD  , i saw him when his Set was not Finished & He has to Finish because of that Nepali Act ,, He was not looking Happy @ all The way his Set was called Over ,,,respect to You Steve ,,
After 2 hours Break COSMIC TANDAV set the Tempo with Nice Start I Stomped so Hard on His Set Nice Music he Has & Track Selection was Awsum ....Dancing Beats just like water Travelling without any Barriers  ...
BabaJelly Heard him First time & Hats Off to him , wat an Artist He took me to the Core where i saw myself Standing Alone against the Army of uncountable Soldiers ,,Pheeewwww

there was this cameraman...with a professional video equip freakin out....
on suggestion:
video rec for org is fine, but station the cameras as snipers and use the zoooooom function.......

actually it does not deppend on the pics to plan my trip next year there, but as it's nice to see good feedback about the powerfull gathering is also nice to see the pics of that amazing place, specially when u never been on that part of the planet,
is kind of promotion too imo. as i also took part in organizing events here in europe for severla years and after a good fest/party, the pics talk for it's own, just example http://skyforum.ayzo.net/forum2.php?config=trancegoa&cat=2&topic=21292&page=5&trash=0

It was an awesome fest amazing location (though initial location with mountains view was compromised to a lesser altitude one, it was still perfect with a mountains n river n beach givin it a li'll bit of a goa feel too  ) Mad crazy stompin music by all the artists including the local drummers n dijridoo n story tellin session ... awesome guys ... met a lot of really nice ppl n had a really wonderfull experience... basic facilities were taken care off including saftey... overall a goodone,. kudos to orgs,. but i have to say things were a li'll heavily priced n too expensive,. almost everything... i guess the inflation has touched the SJ Fest too :-/ Also u can say it was a bit of commercial scene eh ,. and though the energy and vibe was killer, there was still somethin lacking in it... shoot me guys but thats my honest oppinion... but im not complaining,. lol  ... it was all in all a killer scene... after the party stayed back for 2-3 days in thamel n pokhra and watched the sunrise on the Annapurna peak and its sisters (wat a bliss) and came back to home...

all the nights mustve been smasher.... pplz minda must be so twistedd after cummin back from this one... missed this one 2wice... gonna make sure im there for the next one... hope the dark line up will be as wicked as this year or the last....
poly n zik mustve blown pplz brains to another level... live sets!!  ( i feel soo jealous )
all those who went for this one are really lucky =)
it mustve been a mad experience... the location looks too trippy... n the nights were probably super freaking insane!! wish i cudve been there to stomp my feet off... plz put pix!! im sure many ppl wanna see them =)
itz good to see all killer reviews from ppl... mustve beem a bomb.. cuz every1 has only written killer stuff...
good work by thye orgs to have a party so close to india since india scene looks like itz canned for good... i guess weil jusz have to look beyond our borders if we wanna have a mental safe party... |

Aa ha! i would say, it was a dream party at the wonder land......
It was a complete expereince of everything:
Killer music.
Beautiful Location which included mountains, river and sand.
Lovely n lively people with loads of positive energy.
Crazy n colourful deco.
Laser lights flashing on the mountain.
Adventerous trip.
Camping in the interiors of nature.
Proper n decent facilities for shower n toilets.
Easy availability of food, drinks, n wat ever one needs for partying hard.
Nice and cozy chillout area.
Last but not the least, good transport.
What else dose one want??? Im sure everyone is completely sufficed and charged for the whole year untill the next edition.
Just 1 thing that every one would want n that is to extend the duration of the festival and Im sure that will be taken care in the next edition.
Everything was so well planned and well coordinated. Hats off to the orgs and who ever was involved, Outstanding work done interms of everything........ and all the best and good luck with full power for the comming edition.

It's been a long while and we're finally back after this years edition of Shanti Jatra.
After months of intense planning and visualizing, the Shanti Jatra crew are really thankful to everyone who made this possible.
Without each one of you, Shanti Jatra would not be the same......
We're really glad to receive such positive feedback about the cultural dance and Salil's performance with the didgeridoo.
We'd like to thank all the artists that came and delivered some amazing sets. For those who are wondering why certain names that were mentioned on the line-up hadn't showed up, we'd like to clear a few things. Firstly the line-up of any festival is bound to change even until the last minute due to many unforeseen circumstances many of which are sometimes beyond the orgs control. We undertake all possible precautions to run this festival for three days and if the artists invited do not trust this then there isn't much we can do from our side to make up for their absence.
About the rates of the food and drinks being on the higher side. The food was priced at NPR 100 per item which is 1 Euro or INR 65 which is lesser than what you will pay for a meal in Thamel. The cost of diesel has gone up and therefore transporting this food to a farther location is going to cost more.
The next edition of SHANTI JATRA FULLMOON FESTIVAL will be in October 2009 and it will be 3 nights / 4 days. The lineup and live performances will be bigger and better.
Thank you all once again......!!!! Let the SHANTI spread.....!!!!
