Location was top notch, panoramic views all around of hills. You could clearly see the sunrise/sunset/full moon which was the biggest plus for this festival. Location was one of a kind and got to give the org's credit for this.

First night of music:
Saikozaurus: Great guy daniel played a dj set with pure forest psychedelic trance, my favorite genre and really enjoyed his track selection pure forest style .... big ups to this guy for giving us an awesome experience.

Kerlivin: very nice guy, his tent was next to me chatted with him a lot. He played a dj set majorly parvati stuff. Neat mixing skills good dj set.

I am not even sure what the morning dj's name was, he played a powerful non cheesy morning set. Really enjoyed this, the best morning set ive seen live. One side you could see the sun rising from behind the mountains, there were about 9 people on the dancefloor and everybody was full on connected,smiles/vibes all over our faces.

Then i think yeti played a nice pulsating trancey dj set. After which they switched to chill out .... and some really nice diverse chillout with a great flow till evening.

second night of music:
Saikozaurus played a live, aaah what a deep forest story .... again my one of my fav sets for sure.

I think samadhi played after, there was some fire spinning showcased.

Then it was trans driver's live set which totally blew me away, a very nice set with perfect flow through the whole thing. His set was like a great composition, very theme based.Vibes/ppl were great ... dancing and smiling to the moon going down and sun rising.

Last night of music
Kerlivin played a nice live set, i think he played after ekoplex but im not sure i was napping but could hear it from my tent.

I woke up and walked into atriohm's live set which was great experience.

After atriohm some other forest artist played a very driving forest set, probably it was gaiana/trold but this set was also one of a kind, a favorite set for sure.

Positives:Location ... location .... location too damn good, food/water/supplies arrangements, toilets/shower were bearable for that outdoor location.

Lineup/Music: Great taste, lot of forest music, good artists and most played very well. Good chillout dj's also for the mornings.

Tent's/sleeping bags were given to us.

Negatives: No music the first two nights ... wtf it was like a camping trip luckily food etc. was available so everybody got to know each other sitting around bon fires and chatting.

Deco: barely any good deco, very minimal im sure white jaguar understands the importance of good deco/themes in a psy party.... rather disappointing would have been just a little extra effort.

Buses/Jeeps up and down to the festival were not organized horribly, i believe the org's got ripped off by the nepali's in this regard, well there's always a first time.

People who danced through the night were limited but many came and went. There were about 120 people who attended the fest but the org's were expecting about 300 i think.

I surely had the greatest time in nepal since last two years: everything needed to survive was taken care off, the music/time slots of dj's was too good with many forest acts, the location was one of a kind lysergic visual treat, crowd was diverse/interesting.

The three nights the moon was in its full glory and last night was the brightest full moon ever i think. sunrise/sunset was very clear sight thanks to that location. At times also annapurna ice range could be seen.          "Whoever said the best things in life are free... obviously grew their own bud"

Did you get a chance to listen to Ekoplex if so how was the set which he played. He is one of my fav artist.           Mushrooms make you do crazy stuff. Look at Mario he jumps on animal heads and fights with dragons.

Nataraja Fest was something i was looking fwd to this year, mainly cos of the line up... here are my reviews about the festival...

Location : Amazing and Magical, it was worth the long bumpy bus ride, bridge crossing n crazy jeep ride. Was expecting the venue to be somethin like this, thanks to the nepal org of the fest.

LineUp : The main reason to attend this festival was to hear- Atriohm, Gido, Saikozaurus, Kerlivin, Ekoplex - Full Power indeed

Trancedriver, Twodrops, Loops in Fabula great music again.

Glad to hear Samadhi, Nirmal n Trippy Trails and good work by the fire dancers n jugglers.

Food n Facilities : Basic veg food, no flea market. Had to walk 10minutes downhill n 20 minutes uphill to d village to eat some rice n dal bhat...
Poor toilets n showers and no proper water facilities, but mother earth was kind enough

People n Deco : About 200+, expected for a party in Nepal, but people who came - full power, came to listen to some serious intense music n experience some serious psychedelics. Met some great ppl who travelling frm far off places hear certain artists play, including me . Mostly ppl frm Russia n East Europe.

Absolutely NO deco, the venue was amazin no doubt, but some deco is required while ur lucid dreamin... guess i was the only walkin, talkin, dancin deco for 3 days

Logistics : Everyone got sleepin bags n mats and these wer very useful. Big tents were given to ppl who booked them.
Transportation was the worst for this festival. As mentioned everywher it wasnt a 2-3hrs bus ride frm Pokhara, but 5 long hrs was not an easy ride. But it was fun cos we were on the last bus frm pok wit all the artists, boom boom all the way!!!
We had to arrange our own transport to return to pok and the org did nothin to help us.
Overall it was n expensive festival badly organised wit a lot of mis communication between the russian n nepali orgs.

But no words for the music, location n vibes generated for the 3 days to nataraja dance !!!

boom
