The people who wonder why MWNN is still considered a great name in the trance scene although he hasnt produced new tracks for near a decade are the people who obviously have NEVER ATTENDED a MWNN live perfomance and see Martin dancing on stage while playing his music on a big soundsystem.

I´ve never seen MWNN live. And Detox, honestly: you are a very critic of our scene. And mostly I can get your point.
But I don´t think dancing skills (or even if the dance is really deep) can be a benchmark for good music. But good music end up with good dancing! 
Again, imo it´s matter of taste.

i must say that detox has hit it spot on 
i mean, there's his music which i personally think is good, but then there's his live which is simply amazing, never ever fails to throw a dancefloor in the air |

this is known by everybody.

It's ok to love MWNN's music and also to not like his music. Where it seem to go wrong in this debate are those who think those who does not share taste with them has to be told why they got no clue. |

the debate was not to love or not to love MWNN. the question by Ozmike was: "why is he so famous today ?"
can you bring me just one person who was in rave party at that time (mid 90's) and don't like teleport and other release on dragon flyrecords ?
last mwnn releases are not as good as first ones that all

I was never a huge fan of Martins music. Too commercial for my taste-buds. But I do recognize his talent.
The point is very simple. Taste is taste and I see some here who have a hard time when someone does not share their taste.
