yes, mwnn has some cheese in his tracks, but except for sugar rush and the cheesey bit of own the world (strip it from the cheesey melody and its one freaking crazyass track!), its tasty cheese - kinda like astral projection in a way... plus hes really is a master at playing a crowd, i see him play at least 3 times a year for the past 4 years and last weekend was the very first time from all these occasions that i didnt fly my ass off in his set (weird vibes and shitty sound configuration were a big part of that).
teleport is probably my teen years anthem (just like many others of that era) - first time i heard it in a party after years of not hearing this track just got me goosebumps allover, and it still works its magic on me and pretty much any dancefloor i've seen, not to mention possessed - if you dont understand, just watch a dancefloor, thats all you need to understand  |

I saw him live around '98-'99 period. It was a yawn fest. Especially compared to the likes of Joti Sidhu who DJ'd at the same festival at that time. I mean that teleport 2000 mix is a freaking lazy joke of a track!!
I'm sure he is a nice guy. I never said he wasn't. I just don't understand his hyper popularity from back then.

I don't find the tracks I love of his, lazy, I think he just puts enough and not more, so there is space to enjoy the good things that are in there.

actually I said my shit sounds better than his music. So tomorrow morning when I lay a fat brown log in the toilet would you like me to film it?
Sorry none of my music goes online, currently it's all used and written for a fiends small fashion brand as I don't need to make money but just give it away for free to close friends and family.
Seeing as it's commercial I base it what current ads use which is electro house and brostep.
It's fairly simple to make this sounds on Ableton using sample packs. I get $0 for it but I can claim most of it back on tax under "small business". I don't know the finer points that's what my accountant is for.
Furthermore, my other stuff sounds like Infect Insect meets Psykovsky, both of which seem to be hated on here for both live performance and their music so I'd rather not waste my time.
If you're around Melbourne in a few weeks my sisters partner is using one such piece for final assignment in his Masters of Fine Art at the Victorian College of Arts.
It goes with a very twisted video he made using only shadows on inanimate objects.
The music was written on a modular system consisting completely of The Harvestman modules. I spent a 2 weeks with my sisters partner shaping the sounds and it works well. Again, I never put any of my music online because it's mine for now. You and the world can have it when I'm dead and if my kids wanna give it away.
I don't make music for anyone else but me, but a certain person on this forum may get to hear some if he's in town next year otherwise fuck yourselves.
do you really think I'd share my art with cunts like most the ppl on here?

What´s art? Do the artists themself can really classify their works? I do not know to be honest.
And here´s a opinion that is considered the worst offence in psy trance scene: I do not like Simon Postford´s psy trance tracks so much.
I can get the hype about his production techniques, sort of inovation... But I cant get the music itself. Maybe that´s why Mike do not like MWNN at all and is really bored about MWNN big-star status.
Back to the topic: when Mike say that Teleport is a lazy track, he can be right. It goes straight to my thoughts: the best music comes from poorly produced tracks, but with lots of passion and emotion. No need for melodies and cheesy. Passion for music...
