I disagree with the before and after theory. I still listen to other music except trance, and I think it is very important to keep an open mind always. Music that I listened to before and still do: Pink Floyd, the Beatles, Radiohead, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, U2, Jimi Hendrix, REM, Kraftwerk, the Velvet Undergound, and much much more. I will say that Trance has changed the way I listen to other genres of music but for the better. |

I actually grew up with trance, My first C.D. was trance Mix 5(1995), I was only 12 or 13. Befroe that I dont remember, maby Michel Jackson or somthing. |

Actualy -I never meant to devide music before trance and after it...No, I'm just wanted to know what kind of music was listened by us before trance came into our life...As for me it was
different Rock & Metall teams - Queen,Pink Floyd,
Deep Purple, Iron maden. Then GOTHIC & INDUSTRIAL -La Crimosa & Napalm Death & Fear Factory - ...then some kinds of techno, dream-trance e.t.c... |

I listened pure shit before psytrance, holymen and eyal barkan were my "trance" introducers as much as u can say, before that i listened mtv....like many did... |
