I agree with EP if u cant tell whether a track can be released cause it has one or 2 small glitches throughout then you shouldnt be a'r. It could be argued that its more important for music to sound good at home than on a dancefloor anyway - on the dancefloor maybe it will work cause there is party vibe, its loud, people on drugs etc. but will it stand up as a track on its own without all those outside influences?

Mp3 traders are sooo sad! Man, please buy the originals if you like the tracks (compilation) or the artist (artist album)...
I know I do, and I enjoy my collection almost every day in my discman when I go to school... Support artists and labels!!!

A much better way to get your trax around is to host them on your website and pass a direct link
quality doesnt have to be very high.. if a dj really want to play your track he should contact you and request the original

i know this is kinda provacative with so much arguments going on about mp3 and filesharing...but, here goes :
but my humble opinion is that without mp3 and filesharing, trance would never have grown so big! For instance, when i first started listening to trance, i got all the tracks of GMS, Astral from mp3.com that's how i got hooked onto trance.......
ironically now, the same mp3 and filesharing is killing the artists and labels!
quite ironic, just like some science fiction where computers who used to serve humans take over the world....
another coincidence.....
trance = futuristic music
mp3 trading = ruling over music!
has the scene become a slave to mp3? is mp3 bigger than music? i really don't know, but i'm really really afraid to find out the truth....id rather take the blue pill and wake up thinking nothing happened......

hehehe.....i think in a ironic way you are right.....mp3 has help people to know more about more and more artists.....and more about the trance music.....the mp3 is not killing the artists....if an artist doesnt know how to keep his music to him self so its his problem....about the labels it makes damage for sure....

respect to your work 10 years ago but i really wonder what you talk about a&r in this forum.
as i know in most cases the a&r, agent, manager and promoter is the same incompetent person in the psyscene.
@all
there are 2 possibilities:
1. the psyscene could be professionally organized, commercial, static, boring, superficial
2. it could be also underground, dynamic, organic, multifaceted
actually the scene seems to combine the negative effects of both possibilities.
what do u prefer??
making money is far away from psychedelic experiences or not?
more pervert is, that ppl want make money with the drug-addiction of some freaks.
forget this money-shit, let the ppl dance. if you lost this motivation just stop producing psy and start with hardtrance, rave or any other shit.
so, i think, glitches are a good idea when you want to give your track to ppl you cant trust.
djs you know should get the fullversion - so it works since x years in every scene..
