sorry to hear this news guys.this is babylon at work.

together with positve energy we will change things, thats our philosophy.but i think it will get worse before it gets better.when outdoors, keep the parties small and underground and use texts and word and mouth as much as possible.know your rights!

they call it a free state but your not allowed a free state of mind.this is the dark side.this is now.

bush is scum, blair is scum..together they are fuckin it!they are trying to tighten their grip.keep it greesy.

we,on the other hand,rock!!
stay safe and stay on it

Have you travelled accross the US. Have you lived here for an extended amount of time. I live here and I have travelled to many different cities in the US. I am originally from Spain. To tell you the truth, I am surprised they landed commando style and injured some kids in the process. I think this is a very localized event.

Bloodclot - that is a wrong notion btw. I have seen many cases of police brutality in the States and specially in NYC where the cops have gone scott free. I agree that the judicial system works better than in a country like say india, but when it comes to protecting their own the law enforment organizations will pull every string there is to make sure one of their own does not do time for the crime.

Well yes, I have stayed in the US for over 5 years but I guess the way they get out of it would be twisting the rules around. I don't think the corruption level is as bad as it is here. Nobody's paying money under the table and even if they are, I bet its ALOT of money to get someone to go against the law over there, people know the consequences of breaking the law there.

So here is my story.. We are trying to get as much support in this as possible.. Check out www.utrave.org for more informatioN!

On the 20th of August 2005 I set off for a camping drip in Diamond Fork Canyon, Utah. We left my hometown of Logan, Utah around 4:00 P.M. After an hour and 10-minute drive to Salt Lake City, the two of us made it to my former roommates apartment. We waited at this location until about 8:30 at which time we left to head south to Versus II. After about an hour or so of driving we arrived at the gravel pit and were greeted by a male who was taking tickets. He took our tickets and waved us on up to security.
Upon arriving at the security check point the back hatch of my jeep was opened as well as a quick search through my vehicle for drugs or alcohol. Once they were done searching my vehicle I was pointed in the direction of where to park. We took our camping chairs out of the back of my jeep and wandered over to the main stage. We ended up setting our chairs up almost at the front of the stage. Around 11:45 P.M. I noticed a helicopter flying quite low with a spot light. It wasn't much longer after all of us noticed the helicopter that we saw swat come in from all angles wearing full camouflage ... It was like Iraq in Utah
Swat was surrounding the event with guns drawn and in an attack position With in moments of seeing the first gun, swat jumped onto the main stage, guns pointed, and started screaming at the dj's. At this point I make my way to an officer to inquire about the reasoning for breaking up the event. Upon asking the officer their reasoning for entering the premises the officer raised the barrel of his gun and placed it no more that a foot away from my face and said, "Get the F*ck out of here!" At this point I turned around to witness an officer trying to grab a female in a red sweater. This female is screaming at the officer to not touch her. After about a 20 seconds of yelling and the girl continuously backing up, the officer took her to the ground in brute force!!! They were assaulting her. Her boyfriend stepped in and tried to pull the officer off of her. At this point I saw an attack dog released upon the male who was trying to pull the officer off the female. Then 4 more officers ran in and started attacking the male. At this point I also witnessed a second female taken to the ground near the female in the red sweater.
I witnessed people being attacked and harassed all around. I saw people's camera's being stolen and thrown on the ground by officers. I was even told by an officer that if I didn't stop taking pictures on my phone he would arrest me.
I have never witnessed anything like this. Not even in my years of growing up in Oakland, California.

If the psytrance scene in the rest of the country (and maybe even other countries) is anything like what I have enjoyed in the Los Angeles area, then I would do anything to prevent the loss of it.

We have a good thing going, now is not the time to get careless!

Money talks. Bribes work. Prior to organizing and prior the actual event, every outdoor party needs to pass the police, if you know what i mean.

Yeah, that kind of stuff used to happen in Europe all the fucking time. Read about the history of raves in England, for example.

and Utah is probably the more conservative state in the US. By far. It's like a whole different country in some respects. Scares the bejeesus out of me every time i have to drive through it with potheads in the car.

          ..it's just another party..
