Trillian VCO samples through the Moog VCF = Bliss!
No more compromising with Trillian's digital filter. Still have to bounce down and choose a part to loop since the midi gate triggering of the Phatty's ADSRs is not sample tight, but man does it sound 10 times better with the Moog VCF and slight overdrive of the VCF.
Using Logic's I/O plug in, I can insert the Phatty anywhere I want in the insert chain and dial in a -ve delay setting to compensate for the latency of the conversion process. The simply have a MIDI gate trigger track, triggering the Phatty's ADSRs.
So practical this.
Same goes or the x0xb0x running in MIDI Play mode, the 303 saw/square waveforms through the Moog VCF

I'm loving this!

Peace out.

The tetr4 is super nice. I just ordered the Moogerfooger MF-107. That's going to be my 3rd Moog VCO to up the phatty's sound closer to the Voyager + I am going to have analog FM for the Phatty and the x0xb0x for FM acidlines.

Here's an example of the MF-107 with the Mofo

Some more

And going to love making FM drum patterns by inserting the MF-107 on a drum track

Can't wait

Peace out.

Bumping this thread to show some love to the Phatty. So brilliant sounding, so versatile and MIDI implementation means recording parts twice and having true stereo and 4 VCOs...which is one more than the Voyager recorded in mono

Only thing I miss is the VCO phase sync, but I can get round that by choosing the best notes from the bassline riff.

Anyway, I love the Moog sound!

Peace out.

in the advanvced features menu concerning the extra destinations for the mod section

filt,osc2,wave,pitch and OFF!!!!

off doesnt seem to be a viable destination

anyone able to throw a little light on this matter, either im missing something or modulating the off is the next big thing in psy
