Too many other modules to go entirely Doepfer. There are something like 700 modules available in Euro. Crazy!           Analog/Digital Synth Modules www.toppobrillo.com

Which is why I would go the Eurorack format again if I was to build a new modular. You get the bread n butter modules for cheap and have a large selection of top of the range/exotic modules.

Yeah I was thinking of getting a Doepfer system of them but now I'm going the Pittsburgh Foundation 2.0 with some small but quality additions to start, then will probably look at some Make Noise, The Harvestman & Metasonix gear to boost up the entire system over time.           Cuntus Maximus.

So got the foundation, it's lovely. Especially as I got some nice distortion & delay to go with it. While I eventually plan to build a complete Make Noise set up as well, that's on hold as I save for the Dave Smith Prophet 12 keyboard. That thing is a beast and if I have one branded keyboard that is going to be it           Cuntus Maximus.

It's beautiful. It's so much fun. I got it yesterday & stayed up all night on it.

Yeah I figured I just want one non-modular synth and had been already saving for the Prophet 08, now I'll just be patient & save until I have the $3K for the 12.

Between these two, plus the Jomox Xbase 999 I'm paying off I'll have enough hardware to keep me entertained.

I'm considering an x0xb0x but think I might go one of the Acidlabs modules instead.           Cuntus Maximus.

Mmm I'm looking to do some live work like back in the 90's. I want to have my big modular & Prophet to the studio, but a small mixer with a drum machine, x0xb0x &maybe the Doepfer Dark Energy 2 tweaked on the spot for some lively fun & inspiration.

I remember seeing The Geezer & DDR from the London Acid Techno scene live in my home town in Australia doin exactly this. Although it was 3 actual 303's, an 808 & 909, sampler & some guitar pedals running through a mixer. One of, if not THE, best live electronic shows I've ever seen. I was as high as a kite on pills n shrooms, and I never flew so hard or happily before or since           Cuntus Maximus.

Pretty keen to hear a mix cd of exclusive modular synth tracks mixed by the techno master Carl Craig http://www.defected.com/news-reviews/word/Carl+Craig+mixes+his+Masterpiece/2423/ even if it's on Ministry Of Sound lol.           Cuntus Maximus.

Oooohlala! That looks absolutely gorgeous woodster, monster in the making.

Any suggestions here for a good semi modular analogue? Hoping to save up enough to pick up one this summer.

Currently looking at either the KraftzwergII or MS-20 mini.

Thanks to Woodster77 I'm starting to put together my modular beast http://www.modulargrid.net/e/racks/view/30088

After chatting with my dealer I'll be adding the Make Noise Rene as well as the SSF Quantum Rainbow & Manhattan Analog CVP.           Cuntus Maximus.
