Well, Jannis is very talented, and Filteria is synonym of quality in my books. Whenever I manage to squeeze a Filteria track in my sets there is always positive feedback.
Respect!           .

For me too most of the artists making modern goatrance are just too kitsch and un-experimental for me to bother with...focusing overly on tried and tested melodies and sounds, yet failing to strike that psychedelic balance....

That being said

After Death from the newly released and brilliant Battle of the future Buddhas album Urban Legends, is a properly epic track with the old world mystic trance vibe....Simple yet so trippy...altho im sure many would call it kitschy too

+1. Even if I don't feel the music, you can tell the dude loves what he does and sticks to it.
That's always good.

I find it rather kitchy to listen again and again to music without any musical content but just sound desing. These experimantations are limited just to sound design.Sound desing can be very impressive but it still never will have the space and power to go extatic just because of a lack of any strong melodic content that moves itself over a range of more than just one octave. Only this powers can cause extasy to your inner emotions IMO. I agree lots of new goa artists are trying to sound like those from the past, but some of them are even lots of better. Khetzals link on the previous page is a good example of how to make goa music really good.To construct such a world of such melodies one has to experiment a lot Not many people can come up with such a work.           https://soundcloud.com/shivagarden

I think that in my new album I experiment quit much. But obviously I'm not the one who should judge that

Here are some more tracks from the new album that I think bring something new to the table:

Ok, after 4 or so minutes it gets back to the traditional Filteria sound but before that I would say it's a good mixture between modern and old. And the kick+bas has nothing to do with 90's music..

Here is one more I think sounds different from stuff i've done before and also not like some traditional goatrance or whatever you want to call it.

What the hell: one last one :

One thing I am very happy with regarding my new album is that I think all the tracks really have their own identity and their own sounds.

Hope you like it

I love this music. It's music to let all go, relax your soul in the middle of the chaos, be in the moment and go crazyyyy. the reward is huge           http://soundcloud.com/helixirjos
