to my taste when whole set is played as one track is the best thing. one story, mixed in one key.

This is why I like the key change between tracks, and I don't think mixing in the same key should be done..so monotonous.

to each their own! THeres so much to do in regards to mixing and track flow... Why do it some pre-formulated way, that just ends up sounding generic? Why mix the same way each time? Why even mix the same tracks the same way?

To me, psytrance is not about rules, or parameters, and certainly not boxes. Its about branching out, finding new and different ways of doing it, and finding unique and personal ways of doing it!

It all comes down to what you, the individual DJ, want to do. How you want to paint your picture.

No one ever said to Van Gogh, "hey man, you should be a bit more realistic, I think it would be better", and even if they did, obviously he didn't listen!           .
