Hehe, there’s just so much great progressive released at the moment, so there’s plenty of good releases to choose from. While it, in my opinion, has been a very boring year for full on, I would actually say that 2004 has been the best year ever for progressive psytrance – and that’s not an overstatement.

A list of some of my favourite progressive releases in 2004 (no particular order):

Son Kite – Colours (Digital Structures)
Kooler – Open (Kamaflage/Dragonfly)
Shakta – Feed The Flame (Dragonfly)
Human Blue – Electrolüx (Spiral Trax)
Atmos – 2nd Brigade (Spiral Trax)
Saiko-Pod – Phutureremixes (ACDC/Spiral Trax)
12 Moons – Solid State (Candyflip)
FREq – Strange Attractors (Iboga)
BLT & Danni Makov – Anything U Want (Tokyo Dance)
Lunaspice – Reflexion (Sub Machine)
Tetraktys – Tetraktys (Sub Machine)
Vision & Canedy – Another Life (Hadshot)
Andromeda – Temptations (YSE/Millenium)
Shaman – Foretaste (Plusquam)

Some of them are very trancy, while others are more on the housy side – but if you’re looking for minimal there’s unfortunately not much to choose from nowadays.          DJ pr0fane (Iboga Records) | Multiphase

Lunaspice, Native Radio, FREq, and Tetraktys all have some nice albums out recently...

(I usually divide the minimal/progressive from the melodic/progressive - they're often for completely different moods)

if you are open here are a few suggestions...

personally these are a few of my favourite compilations, just for you to get the jist of, empahasis on the "my favorite" so you should really find out for yourself:

carpe diem(innersound rec), eyes rolling(zenon), subduction(mantra rec), battle royal(zma rec), chrome/submachine(submachine rec), to be checked out, but undoubtably will be great which is the new realease on aust.label Zenon Records, permutations, and if you are anything like me, check out
sensient, suncontrolspecies, pps project, luna spice, tatsu compilations, son kite, haldolium, vibrashpere, bigwigs, and... it keeps going for me, don't want to point you in a million different directions.. check it out for yourself...

i see progression for the minimal and against the melodic, and or but (for you to decide really) has great compromisation.

for me there is just not enough minimal!

hopefully i am some help to you, get back to me and see how you went, hehe!!

Freq, Atmos, Human Blue, Shakta and Son Kite are excellent recommendations!!!

Also check the compilations Battle Royal [ZMA], Irresisitible Meltdown 3 [Plusquam],
Pure Bliss [Tatsu] and the new album by Matenda on our very own Flow Records.

As for the track Wet on Sub 6 Album, well I wouldn't call it full on, but it's also not progressive. At least not in the same way of all the other names posted here. Some are more prog house in fact - Vision & Canedy, Kooler, Jokke in the Mix, Avalanche of Sounds 1 & 2. But they are very good (at least for my taste).

I'm sure you will like BLT & Danny Makov album. And, curiously enough, I bought it together with Sub6 "Who needs love songs".

Abraços!!

As Ron Lyner said, Sensient is the best..

If you want some minimal, take a look at the Sensient album "Blue Neevus", and his own label Zenons two compilations "Eyes Rolling" and the new "Permutations".

Fantastic sounds..
