Summer's here...and Mindgames is back in town.

THE LABYRINTH 2004
SEPTEMBER 10-12
"A 45-Hour Trip Into Your Head and Out of Your Mind"

This year's Labyrinth features 45-hours of non-stop music on one stage. The 3-day journey of adult entertainment will travel through all forms of psychedelic electronica: from ambient, dub, and chilled beats to trippy house, driving tech, and progressive/psychedelic trance. After six months of serious thought and discussion with artists from different scenes all over the world, we have put together the perfect voyage of deep sound to do your head in nice and proper.

The chosen group of artists--from Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Australia, Japan, and the UK--are working together as a unified team to tickle and toy with your mind. Mindgames makes only one promise: you've never heard anything like it.

This is not a psychedelic trance event.
This a PSYCHEDELIC event.
You've been warned. Come prepared.

More info coming soon...

Russ has been on the underground vibe project in Japan since i was there (5 years ago)...and it looks like his efforts are paying off. if you want go "back in time" for a more real and underground party in Japan - I would absolutely check this one out!

Russ I just can agree with your statement in Japanzine's 2004 Summer Festival Guide. You are completely right man.

We tried to choose artists who represented the absolute best of a certain genre of sound, such as Arne (midimiliz) for techno-trance, Kasey Taylor for underground australian progressive house, Peter Didjital for scandomorning trance, Laureth for German progressive, Space Safari for afternoon groove, Kruger and Coyle for freaky, funky, and chunky sounds, Oli (m.o.s.) for nighttime dark progressive/psytrance, Abakus for trippy downbeat, Llopis for tribal beats, and D-Nox for the all-genre mixing machine. As always we are bringing over a bunch of fresh faces who've never played in Japan before.

All of our dj's are serious technicians behind the decks and I promise you there are no weak links! The timetable is being meticulously charted to lock you in the music.

For sound, we are making no compromises as usual and will have a massive Funktion-One Resolution system, without question the best PA speakers in the world.

For those of you who've been to our parties, you know our style:

good music + good speakers + good people = good party

The rest is all a distraction...

Hi Kenji,

I also like the sound of Moshic, but there is another dj named Gab Olivier (Zero Tolerance, Australia) who I really wanted to bring this year. Gab plays a sound that is a little similiar to Moshic, but MUCH darker, deeper, and more intelligent. Gab would kill you for sure.

Unfortunately the timing for Gab was not good this year, so we will have to bring him next year instead. Just be a little patient and I'll bring you true darkness...

For this year's Labyrinth, I recommend you not miss Arne's (Midimiliz/The Delta) 1st intro set on Saturday night. He's going to be playing his new downtempo/experimental dark-electro sounds. Should be very deep!
