now goodmood was split in omium and trance karma, isn't that right?i don't think that diogo had a major role in organizing goodmood parties..i think he was more like they'r DJ, wasnt he? the good things from goodmood are lost...i'm waiting anxiously for boom since i left last year, i had the greatest time of my life there, and i will have it again next year. too bad goodmood doesn't organize parties anymore!!ESTAMOS ENTREGUES À BICHARADA, ain't that right           Acid is not for every brain - only the healthy, happy, wholesome, handsome, hopeful, humorous, high-velocity should seek these experiences. This elitism is totally self-determined.
Unless you are self-confident, self-directed, self-selected, abstain.

Diogo is indeed the brain, and muscle behind Goodmood, always deeply concentrated and almost untouchable during events.
But it would be unfair not to mention, Pedro Carvalho, Migas and P-Mac.

Diogo, is the oldest still in active portuguese DJ, and one of the best ones in my opinion, who plays often abroad.
Most people dont know this, but he is DJ'ing since he was a very young boy in Goa, and he brought the whole concept to Portugal.
That's how much involved he is in the scene.

GoaGil is not exactly my cup of tea, but i guess he is, in a way, the embassador of trance.

If we had to choose a trance Chairman he would fit the position.
But i dont like him as a DJ.

HELLO D-TECTOR
"Most people dont know this, but diogo is DJ'ing since he was a very young boy in Goa, and he brought the whole concept to Portugal"... honestly you shouldn't say things that you dont know...... ASK DIOGO ABOUT THE PARTYS OF "o Frances" or the parties in caparica not in help bar more further down.....
Please close this thread is enough.... pleaseeeeeeeeeee a3k close it please.....
In portugal you shouldn't belive in everything you are told.... specially in trance parties when people are veryyyyy high.... i just dont want to start saying things that can wreck some promoters in portugal and seus vicios.......

What do you mean?
The guy is from Goa, i even know part of the family?
"O Françês"? Are we talking about the same person?

"In portugal you shouldn't belive"

Its not a question of believing, I know him from many years. Could you explain yourself better? Why are you so upset?

jeez, and i thought it was only people dancing.

With all due respect, and nothing personal to you a3k, this kind of "dinamic, charismatic, collective, specifically, effervescent", kind of language for me is pure bull#$%.
Colourfull adjectives without any meaning or objective, but good for youngster to get curious on the amount of carefully chosen words...

hey but that's me

you must understand other people's way of thinking... specially when that person is old, has more years of trance than you'll ever have, was one of the people that created the best thing in the world.
it's a spiritual side of life... which is normal for him given his roots.

you must respect people... specially THIS people.

Diogo has always been the brain behind production and logistics and Captain P_Carv the Brain behind the Building, DEcor and THe arquitect behind the party infra structure.

An un paralleled combo while it lasted.

Goa gil maybe is not the perfect Dj but I am happy
when I see him on the decks.
First of all is the personality about this old guy.
The man knows some secrets about dance and sounds
and this is more important if you wanna come in Trance with dance..
So a little bit of respect is no bad..

Open your mind...

what do you mean? That i dont understand?
You shouldn't underestimate...
What about my way of thinking? I'm a people too, you know.
I get the feeling that you dont understand my way of thinking. Otherwise, you wouldn't quote me, you would just respect me...

I dont agree with most stuff i read here, but i respect whatever the other guy has to say.

Well G.W.Bush is old, Sadamm Hussein is old, and i dont have special respect for them, if you ask me.

No he was not.

But if you mean that he spins other peoples work since the birth of trance, you're right..only a couple of months ago did he created anything, the nommos or something,
if you are talking about trance..

Quote:
it's a spiritual side of life...

I dont know what that means.. really
Its up to you to choose what you believe in..
I only see him as a DJ, just like the rest..
not special, or diferent..
If some people choose to think of him as ball of spacial power flowing through the dancefloor that's their choice, not mine...

Quote:
which is normal for him given his roots.

yeah, you are right, but that's HIS roots...
not mine.

I was born and raised in Portugal, never been to goa, don't really intend to, i'm not a guru, or whatever... not hindu, or other thing.
Ganesha or ohm or Sadhu's or whatever dont mean much to me, its other people's religion...and goa merchandising, so you can be identified in the middle of the crowd, simple as that.
I'm happy to say that i intend to follow my own roots, and not go after the herd... -think about it

Well nothing personal to you, who i dont even know, and in a way i understand your thoughts, believe me.. can you understand mine?
