Dude, listen to the last Misted Muppet album, and look at the reviews about the album, for realy exciting melodic sick trance!
I'm so happy I bought it you have no idea..

Misted Muppet Create very special & original music with atmosphere of knight & the round table.
the melodies are non standard they work differently...i really don't know how to explain this.

i think that musics with less explicit melodies are easier not to get fed up than musics with explicit melodies.

i don´t really know why or how this happens but i also feel that way. i think that every music has it´s own melody, ones more explicit others less. the less explicit melody songs normally you have to listen to them more times to really assimilate the whole track while in full on exlpicit melodies you hear it once and you´ve already heard the whole song, then you hear it more 3 or 4 times and nothing new, when the 5th time comes you are already fed up with it.

just imagine a party playing only melodies and a party only without melodies what do you prefer?
none of the two...we need tracks with melodies the right time like a morning set and killer dark tracks at the deep night ....so melodic tracks will not last till dark tracks replace them and then again...music goes on...           ~~~~~~~namaskar~~~~~~~~~

hmmmm yeh right.....why dont you try listening to the drumming of Dennis Chambers and get back to me on that one...

[/quote]

yeah man gotta love that man he plays the drums like i breath!

but try listen to him play along with bassist and guitar player! i find it more "whole" then 1 man drumming.

and yeah its about taste..
i love perfect stranger track in set4 for its melodies

That's true!
People always remeber the hook melody but never know who perform this, let alone who is the drummer in the band?, or even the song name.

If U can remeber a great drummer's name, then u usually don't remeber the beats he played.

By the way, I love to see Dennis Chambers drink water while kicking double pedal.
Hahahaha..

EXACTLY

But i think he means like cheesy melodys perhaps. But it will last. Of course it will last. Its been here since the begining. When i started listening to trance i was peticular crazy about Astral Project - People can fly, which is very very melodic.

So of course it will last, dont be silly!

No. Except overmelodic stuff (holymen!), but undermelodic stuff will die as well... the stuff with nothing but drums and two fart noises in the whole track.
