A gift to isra people
I hope i dont break rules about giving that cd, it is hard to be found and probably dont exist anymore.
This is a recorded ceremony from sir Gordon Wasson of a session with Maria Sabina back in 1958 i think and has 17 tracks - chants that Dona Maria used to sing on a mushroom ceremony-session
I love her voice, its so mystical and secret,, im sure lots of people here that already know Maria Sabina and her story will find it interesting .

the sad thing about maria sabina is that in spite of her immense role for the western society and its awakening, she was accused from her own natives to have commercialized their believes. i have read a few books about her biography and it is actually quite sad what happened to her. the villagers did not understand her. and btw her husband was beating her already in the early years of her life....
she had a sad destiny.....

the most interesting story about her is, in my opinion, the case when hofmann synthesised some psilocybin ( mushrooms) in the form of pills and gave it to her to let her prove if the pills work as an entheogen too, i.e. if the synthesised pills contain god as well . at the beginning she was quite sceptic about it but then one hour after the consumption she came to the conclusion that the pills do contain the mushroom god as well......
NOTE : here the pills contain only psilocybin. NO mdma pills are included in this experiment....
but it is an important case to know, because many freaks i know deny any synthetic and artificial entheogens as a way to connect to god. i dont. to me there are quite a few sacraments that are not in plant form....and the mazatek shaman maria sabina proved it as well....
about the nike, marlboro and coca cola....well so what? i mean, why do you concentrate on the negative side? concentrate on the brighter side:) dont be so dogmatic.....

Its funny how everything wetern seem evil and everything not western is so damn cool.
What si so damn cool of western values is its love for negative freedom (aka lack of physical barriers) that allow everybody to have the life they want and choose it. Youre not forced to anything you can find ways around the "system" and be very happy.
Democracy usnt the best system, but its better than all the pthers that have been tryed.
About Maria sabina, well she did a great good gift to westerns yes, and that all matters, I really doubt she consider herself a role model , so I dont think judging her is fair.

Maria Sabina was probably to kind and innocent soul in front of the westerns greed. She offered everything to them
Gordon Wasson felt into depression the last years before he died in the 80ties, feeling responsible and blaming himself for all the mess that created in the life of Dona Maria.
In fact he was right because they were scientists and while these people were really dedicated to their life research as ethnomycologists, were the ones, and he specific that brought to the surface and gave so much publicity to her person, leading to an enormous amount of people seeking for her and her wisdom with many many bad consequences for her, her village and mostly on the practices upon mushrooms and the secrets of shamans to the death of her son by military soldiers ..

but she never took money, never asked for them, only accepted gifts from foreigners, the nike is probably one of them
once a visitor gave her a dog for gift but she couldnt accept it, because she had no food, or spear at least, to feed the dog, she had only her practices and wisdom and really was of the persons that focused on these values and not on material things..

^^^ Democracy is a wonderful system, it just doesn't work in a capitalist world. Democracy= everyone gets a say, Capitalism= He who dies with most things win. They're pretty much contradictions of each other.

thats a good question.I myself think its more than ok to share here cause this might go to the right ears like fate.otherwise I have so respect from spiritual spirits I wuldnt sample anything for instance from this source without knowing it 100percent its ok for the original source.But for private ceremonies its a candy.btw
no matter if nikes or barefoot see the mirror thats the point Im sure this woman no matter how life was is a high and good shanti spirit.And for sure even such spirits make errors ,the essence is worth deepening not all thaoughts which come to mind.

you know something, i have think of that myself too, i mean i could easily take her voice and through it on a track and have a super real shamanic speech in my music, but wont and will never do it, out of respect to her soul at least, enough is enough with some things, we are not some savage journalists..
you can lighten with her sings some private moments/ceremonies, catch the spirit, as time traveller said.. no way using that somewhere else, its blasphemy and no respect imho

if you ask me, i think it has more "good purpose" to make a track or any form of art - writing or filming or fotos, than just to post her voice , but i am savage. and blasphemic. right? btw where did you get the voice, did it record it yourself? may be she did not want?:) did you ask her if she wants to see her voice on isratrance.com?
no i was actually interested because we are doing this party or a conference dedicated to the mushroom as an entheogen, and i personally find it a good thing to inform the people, and to invite world known researchers to talk about things like that. i think it is better. at the end of the day mushrooms have to be respected as sacred, what they have always been, and what they are far away from being in the west.
so as there will be of course an event video at the end which i will do, i was just wondering if i may use the voices. as they were used in many different movies i have watched. and the movies had a great purpose.

oh yes, and i forgot. a savage journalist or writer had to go to maria sabina first, so that you and me and anyone here can hear about her rituals and the mushrooms at all. if he ar she did not do it, we would have no idea about her at all.
