i have both the DVD film which was filmed around 1980, yes with gordon wasson, but thats a movie..
this recording is from 1958 during a mushroom ceremony with Maria Sabina, again by gordon wasson..
as for the "good purpose"
again i dont care what other people do, savage, journalist or not, or how they treat things/information in life, personally care for what i do, i think it that way, thank you
and actually since you havent dl this, why are you concern about it so much...

my dear , can you express yourself a bit more understandable.
this recording was published by boris hiesserer, a media shaman from heidelberg for his dvd medienschamanismus. i will send you the link for his website, i am almost ready. but you can hear a speach by him on our event in zurich as well. he will speak about the mushrooms as a root of all religions.
and you dont have to thank me, i just ask if it is legal to use, and i dont ask about it is a good moral to use these tunes for a video or another form of art.
of course i am concerned, if i work on that.

man i know what is a tape recorder. i mean, come on, i dont really need a wikipedia link to a tape recorder you know.
i know when the recording was taken.
the person i am talking about is personally a friend with all those people from the 50ies and 60ies, has a lot of material from them ( in a legal way with all the rights included and needed to publish dvd libraries).
whatever it is, i find it quite not appropriate to judge about savage journalists and their moral. first it takes much more than a journalist to go to mexiko at times when nobody else did and to do a velada there. the point that wasson wrote about it in a magazine after that, doesnt make him and his wife valentina wasson savage journalists. and btw non of them got rich and famous out of that , actually they did it for the others, like me and you.
and once more, before judging ot that ( "we are not savage journalists, it is balsphemic"), it would be nice to put yourself a question if is not the same and even worse to send this here then:).
nothing personal, but i found the way you express yourself quite impolite. you dont even have the rights on this do you? cause others at least do. maria sabina would not do it, if hte spirits would not have told her that she should trust hofmann and wasson and others around them.
and once more, it will be reall interesting to visit the conference on the 12th. i talked to my friend jochen gartz, who is also an old world known mykologist and an autor and is coming to the conference too, and i asked him to talk about the eleusinian mysteries in the balkans.....he said yes....it will be a great topic.....

eleusinian mysteries were at Eleusis, now Eleusina in Atiika near Athens not in Yugoslavia and yes i find it nice to share with people that appreciate and never told someone specific savage, it was a reference to a way of thinking and acting, somehow you took that again personally about you? or your friends? ..anyway if you like the recording enjoy it as you like, just that..

second, as you can hear from prof gartz ( btw there is an interview i made with this prof in mykology on my website) the balkans was quite rich on such festivities even before eleusis. eleusis itself as a rite, was not held in eleusis only. actually it was held long before eleusis on the northern part of the balkans as well.
yes, i feel abused. because of the reactions on this forum on my articles about the nectar of immortallity. people here calling something like that blasphemic and savage journalism,
i find it more savage to post something about which you dont even have the rights. actually it is illegal. both in legal terms and in moral terms. those freinds of mine who publish it, have known hofmann and wasson personally. you?
so now keep going.

this is the balkans. and it is the oldest civilized place in europe. civilized = cities and rites. if it is is europe at all. well geographically it is europe. politically half of it, hopefully soon all of it. it is full of mushroom rites there. 6000 years ago.

and please please , eleusinium mysteries were held in Eleusina, thats were they got the name from, in other parts of greece, which back then was not even greece yet as a country, there where other tribes with other mysteries such as the gods Dionysus rituals with amanita muscaria in Thessaly etc.
Check to read some Robert Graves work, specific The White Goddess, its a bible if you have the strength to read it or better the background knowledge to understand it, anyway youll learn a lot about ancient greek and not only mysteries..

love you all at least here Dionysus rocks ! And balkan territories are really magical.. i really believe without beenever there ,its a paradise for magical plants and herbs sometimes like when moon arrives for some herbs etc. From all I met,read and got to know only. I think we are all here sorta medium spirits that arent always the eaziest characters.Peace mi friends!

have you heard about orheus and the oldest tracian mysteries? this is something that was not really included in books like " road to eleusis" and all others because it was so far not researched. it was just mentioned but not really researched. because of political reasons before the wall in berlin fell. jochen gartz did not even include it in the big mushroom world encyclopedia. he wrote about it in a few articles later on. actually he could write a book on that but he has a financial crisis as well as many others do, because no one buys such literature + such dvds any more. you see, they are available for free.
anywa on topic. these mysteries were held earlier on other places than eleusis. some historicians say they were actually the well known dionisis mysteries , held earlier in norhtern greece and in bulgaria, which was not bulgaria at that time ( bulgaria dates from the 7th century as a country) but it was just the tracians.
and by the way i know where they were held, thanks for the information. i guess the peninsula was there even before the political countries?
so if you are born there, sorry but you are born there and you dont even know that the balkans is greece as well? cause this is how your posts sounds?
anyway. i was born there on the balkans as well. i happen to know some things about it as well.

yeah, i love you too. we are in peace, i just dont know why shouldnt we speak about the facts. there are wrong and right facts. you know. so simple:).
so we could stay with this one, that the famous mysteries of eleusis were not held in the balkans. or not. it is up to us if we learn from each other or not.
i had really really bad experiences on goabase with this one. with the facts. sometimes it is really more than enough.
sorry if i react over dosed. it was only because of goabase.de recently. i just think that the forums are there exactly for this purpose. to discuss things and contra opinions. the word forum came btw from the balkans as well. and it means really really discuss contra opinions. i think, it is the most stupid thing to close forums and to put users away just because they protect their opinion. it is the weakest thing to do. but it will be not the first time to see that man is a weak being in front of woman hehehehe

I love Maria Sabina so much, she really was for real. Truly humble and wise woman.
And she experienced the mushrooms when she was six years old for the first time. They were poor and she was hungry and found the mushrooms by the corn fields and when she felt the effects she just started praying looking at the sun.
The mazatec sierra in Oaxaca where she used to live is a magical place. The clouds run like rivers through the mountains and its a very mystical place with huge caves and fairy landscapes and exotic languages. However now the mountains are been contaminated by the modern roads, cars, and all that, like everywhere else in the world. Some of the native mushrooms are going extinct. I have been to Huautla (where she was from) and when you get there the little kids jump to offer you psychedelic mushrooms. It didn't use to be this way. This was a result of all the hippies invading Huautla in the 60s. I guess this was bound to happen.

Thanks alot. I think it's a good initiative to share these ceremonies. Westerners may have desecrated the way of life in her village and ruined her divine connection to the mushrooms, but the worst we could do is to forget.
