So I heard in the raveolution fest 2004 the Melicia act with his sister Odelia. It was shivering experience and something that I will never forget. The next day I got his album and the music it in was just pale and boring.
So is loud sound can improve the artists music and make it better that it is?

Louder = Impressive

If you turn the volume down totally, you cant hear it at all, and it doesnt impress at all anymore.

If you turn it up REALLY loud, your skeleton will be pulverized, and its not so great anymore either.

Loud sound system with quality and good equalization can make everything better.

Loud sound with poor quality makes me sad...

As for the topic, maybe it wasnt the same tracks. A lot of ppl keeps some really good trax only for dj sets/lives.
But also as lithium said, the place the crowd the substances and the louder system makes some difference.           +-+talking with ali3ns around the universe+-+

Yes.. Listen to LOUD music.

Melicia alblum, pale? Are you kidding? Maybe its just the come down off of hearing it on a big system. I who have never heard Melicia except on my home speakers would not use the word pale to describe that alblum!

I quite agree on this...

I would never like to listen to some chill out/ambient music very loud, though I would like to feel the bass...

and from the other side, I can not listen to X-Dream just from normal sound system! X-Dream's music needs a powerful well balanced professional sound system....otherwise you loose the "bass feeling" of the tracks...

For home listening, I have the feeling that the most reliable way to listen to the music is to use a set of good headphones....
