Sorry for caps guys
i'm looking to get the basic equipment. And can't decide yet.

Monitors:
Adam A7X or Dynaudio BM6A or KRK VXT8.

Soundcard:
I'll be needing something internal the best you can get. I heard it should be cheaper then the external so i need to hear your opinion.

And still have some more 500$ LEFT TO SPEND!

What would you add to the basic pack??? (Except acoustics . I've got a limitless stock for that.)

Need help !

Thank you all

This has been answered in excess in this forum, nevertheless, here it is again:

Skip the Dynaudo, fuck KRK period and go for the Adams A7X.

l always recommend to go for an external soundcard. RME was too expensive for me too, I went with MOTU and am happy, driver and all...

If you then have $ left, get either Zebra and/or Omnisphere... presuming you have compressors, eq, etcetera...

Search maybe you can find them in stock with better price           ...into the wild....

I owned a pair of KRK's before but these Adam A7's (not A7X)I have now are just soo much better!
The Adam monitors sound way more crisp and detailed, and whilst the A7X are supposed to have better base than the A7's, I am not complaining about any lack or so in that department.
But maybe for the future I'll be looking to update to the newer ones

Hey thanks for the replies guys
I still consider to get the Dynaudio and i heard them all and they all sound amazing. That is why it is so tough to decide. So i dump the KRK though they sound amazing for the price they cost less then the other 2 and Dynaudio is the most expensive. So its BM6A VS A7X

I really want to hear some advice about an Internal SOUNDCARD MONSTER anyone heard about anything crazy. Leave MOTU and RME i don't need that. I just don't do field recordings and for the price can get a mixer with the internal. Maybe if i were i would consider but it is just fancy names. I know for sure i can get for the price an internal that leaves dust to both of them.

And for the extra cash i want to get UAD Plugins orrr something similar.

Omni and Zebra is not what i will get. I don't use the cracked so why would i get it for cash ?
U-HE and Spectratronics plugs all work bad for me don't know why. You know each to his own.

I use mostly Native Instruments. They just have all i need. For an all in one plug i use VirSyn Tera the sound is just insane and it is so powerfull. Just don't need the presets of Omni and the wavetable and Fm of Zebra sounds kind of too soft and mellow for me. Still i like to experiment and could use anything. I like to use all kinds of stuff.

internal are popular in studio , it should offer better performance and more stability compared to lot of external cards and you can later add better converters if needed.

i would go rme internal for the drivers ,stability.. never had a single problem with the old hdsp 96/32 with years of use

omg the rme costs 1350 euros here in Israel.

But i don't know how about getting stuff like this second hand.
People could clip the hell out of it and the dust always does its thing.
I would always cover it in a bag and clean the hell out of it to keep it in good condition.
--------------------------------------------

Anyone had any experience on the Marian Seraph Cards ? They seem to specialize on Internal Cards . (Rme is more on externals but still i won't drop it out of my list of course.)

-----------------------------
I'll probably need some upgrades for the PC.
I have a Intel Core 2 Duo 2.3 Processor on a Gigabyte S-series GA-P31-S3G Motherboard and its pretty ancient. I will want to grab a new motherboard for sure i guess and might install a new chip on the way with some additional RAM.
What should i have in mind for it to work in sync with the DSP of the soundcard and everything ?
How do i know the buses are fast enough? ? ? Can anyone refresh my memory please .           http://soundcloud.com/magimix-1/chilling-forest-whispers

i bought a rme 9632 off ebay for 200$ a couple of years ago and believe me it does the job well.. will you take the interface out for playing or need additional features? if not gor for internal and used. so much to get for little money imho.           http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/stereofeld-frequenzwechsel
