i have never been rude on isra but i can't stop myself writing this with little rudeness.
First question : Why do they Play Morning , Fullon etc. at nights in parties ? {proper 8 hours Party from night till morning}
second question : Why don't they understand the neccesity of dark?
ppl respect their style and play with full respect when it is supposed to be played {morning}
but then why don't they play dark at nites when it's supposed to be played ?
and if somebody plays dark in the morning these ppl start crying....
{i see ppl still crying on that highko party happened at shiva valley a few yrs ago where he played dark in the morning.}
WTF ?
fo me it's dark all the way but i do like proggy in the morning seeing everyone smiling and feeling good vibes
but at nights i have to have dark
tht's wat is psy abt ...
isn't it?
night - dark psy
morning - Proggy {happy feel , sunrise , good vibes}
has psytrance completely divided in to two categories ?
or the rules have changed ?
should we have completely two different parties ?
dark party , proggy party ?
really wanted to share this from a long time.

i totally agree. here we also don't have dark at night! you hear full on all party long! and when you have a (very rare) dark party where they play dark during the morning (which is totally fine by me, that's why i like goa gil's parties) everybody starts whining - they even complain sometimes if you listen to dark during the night!
i can't understand this obsession over full on people have, what the hell?? even though for me i'd like to listen to dark for the whole party i understand there's a time and space for everything - but always full on?? fuck those parties.
this really irritates me 
ps - by the way, where are you from? you think proper parties are 8 hours long? eheh here parties usually start at midnight and finish at at least 6pm ... i guess i'm lucky

Rules? What rules? Sometimes I hear in this forum of people praising Penta for his morning sound... it makes me think the world has turned upside down. Personally I think it can be really interesting to hear uplifting sounds in the dead of night--it all really depends on the context and how everyone is feeling. There is no sense in placing artificial restrictions on music that strives to break boundaries.

proggy , morning = Morning psytrance , with sunrise with cool air ad freshness with happy thoughts and u know all happy happy stuff after getting ur innerself out from some dark music .....
if tht's wrong
then i guess ppl should really bang hard dark psychedelic as well in the daytime coz then there are no rules.......

these days , for the most part as far as iv noticed , dj`s are just out to outdo each other .. everyone wants to play the killer fast stuff , not caring about the mood of the party or the time of the day .. this isn't good .. people forget the `fillers` are as important as the `killers` in a set .. artists , and those who produce only one style of music , be it dark or happy or watever can not be faulted if they get slotted at a time where there music wont sound as good as it should .. dj`s however , should have the understanding and skill to change their style and adapt .. for me the perfect party would be one where theres the whole range of psy music styles , played accordingly , minimal --> dark-->fullon-->prog -->chill .. but it dosent happen so much .. lineups are crammed with to many names , artists get slotted in the wrong time , and djs all want to showoff their killer fast stuff .. someone fix it plz

I totally agree that during the night we need night music and then in the morning morning music! But this comes from the organizers of the party or festival don't you think? I think these people have no idea of a trance concept and are just there taking the cash! I am not saying everyone is like this but there are quite a few! If somebody ask you to make a festival i definately would not choose highko to play in the morning! Also trip_on_acid man you say for you it's dark all the way then why do you grumble about not having morning?

Not everyone like dark psy on 150 bpm. For me it is boring music and I cant connect emotionally to it.. I master of complaining when is about why there is no tech trace at night.

bro it's all the way dark for me and trust me i don mind a party which has only dark artists but my point is that even playing only dark is wrong.
morning and dark both have to be there at any cost....
i was respecting morning and was trying to get the same respect for dark.

I tottally agree that a party must have all styles being played at their intended times, i like dark and i love the fast psychadelic sounds but its music to be enjoyed wille its night, wille the illusion of neon colors and defacing of the real world is more intense.
Dark stops making sense as soon as the sun comes up, then i think the happy melodic tunes are a must, changing the mood for a more relaxed trip, time to look at everyones face and realise that the blond princes you starred all night is actually a bulldozer with 2 theets left and a quimikal breath abble to kill a horse within a radious of 1km.

you all should come to Shamanik Festival in Portugal next summer, nice fullon line up for daytime and early night, fine progressive and morning sounds for freshnes in the start and killer Dark psy line up for evil night time...see you there!

p.d. for those of you who preffer dark all the way, you can always come to Guatemala, here most of the people like twisted dark music, so parties are always very dark untill the morning. |

hehehehehe...... I was at a party where the dj was playing psy remixes of 80's tracks at like 2am, or something rediculous....... the guy that came on at dawn played all crazy stuff that was missing over the previous hours. All the sudden the dead dance floor was full
I gues we have to say dark, because we know what were talking about that way (sort of)........ I say full power 24hours a day on the mainfloor...... progressive in the chillout at night.

thats depends on the party so... look at the line up and see what artists plays what...if they dont play dark in the time you like dont go to the party |
