I think aden did a pretty good review, his personal tastes are clearly for the non 'prog psy', but more the tech, deeper prog sounds, how can you have a go at him as he's just giving 'HIS' view... but lets not review the review, thats just dumb.

Yeah the Aden review is not the problem but I think was very contemptuous with the "prog psy" producers while the "tech-prog" or the "biggers names" were the Elvis Presley of the review, that's what upset me about his review...

I can be sure that if these "prog psy" producers started to producer this "tech-prog" sound they would sound with the same quality, at the end is matter of taste but use cheap, unnecessary, overused FORMULAS, I mean come on... where this guy lives... I didn't know also that he was a dj... he should know that the FORMULAS are presence in all the electronic streams so suck it and live it and don't pretend to give us a lesson of production knowledge.

At the end, is a great CD, I love both sides and there is music for all the people. for me is one of the best remixes CDS from Iboga by far.

Also I couldn't imagine to Liquid Soul collecting remixes from cheap producers, for those people that really know of him should know that the guy is very very worried about the quality so can't wait to see one day the Aden remixes CD, would be great to make a review of that one... will do it myself if it's necessary

My personal favorites, Tristan, System 7, Visua, Phony Orphants, Protoculture, Jerome-Is-Mae, Ovnimoon and Lenny's remixes...

Well to be honest I think prog psy has been stuck in the same 'FORMULAS' for the last 4 years. I think Aden has a point. At least producers working with techno/tech house styles seems to be experimenting a lot more with beats and basslines compared to the psy prog producers.

Anyways, this double cd has more than enough good tunes from both sides of the coin to please most people.

Great remixes in general. I listened to cd1 a couple of times already and cd2 has spinned away twice too. CD1 is my fave. The one remix that doesn't really work for me is the Tristan one, which is a bit too hard compared to the rest. Overall though, a fine example of nowaday's styles of prog blended with Liquid Soul's ideas, most of them from his Love In Stereo album.           "Subconscious unravels at the point of death, and all time it has known erupts into a moment. As death extinguishes us, so we become it."

7. Liquid Soul : desire (Ovnimoon rmx)
Chilean Producer Ovnimoon prolongs the melodic Trance vein of the remixes but does not even modify the recycled old clichés, overused formulas and cheap melodies for the kids. Cheese fest to be expected. Only for unsophisticated stomachs.
