The term in relation to music actually came from the Jamaican dancehall scene.
They have what's called sound clashes, when two or more sound systems get together on the stage in front of a crowd, and play their best selection of original and rare tunes. The crowd then selects his favorite sound by cheering really loud.
If a sound did really good, they killed it, meaning they eliminated all the other sounds.
that's a common terminology they used. For example, "A Go Kill You In A Soundclash""
Now how did it endup in psytrance? Maybe some trippin rasta walked into a party in india and start screamin ' soundboy gwan kill ya'
MINDFLUX - A continuing flow of the human consciousness that originates in the brain and is manifested especially through thought, perception, emotion, will, memory, and imagination. |

Well when you listen to a track with a fat bassline dont you think its a killre track?
Killer is a statement of a track form a personal opiniomn. Noone can say what makes a track kick ass, 'cos it is individual what people like..
I totally agree with bam bam

I think it's a bit like see someone you fancy rotten at first - you go through all the same stages and then after a while you might find yourself falling in love.
I feel it in my belly - the same kind of butterfly sensation you get when you're nervous/excited around a sexy person you quite like - an instant physical reaction that spreads out, so sometimes my heart starts to thump and my cheeks get warmer, or I might find I'm holding my breath when I hear a particular sound or frequency.
Sometimes I'll become really obsessed with just one track for days and days - I just want to spend all my time with it, just like you do when you're in the first stages of a new relationship - you listen to it whenever you can, hear it in your head when you're not near the stereo, it makes you want to laugh or cry or dance...
And after a while it's usually obvious whether or not it was just a silly infatuation and/or dark chapter in your (auditory) life, or if it is a true sonic soulmate that's going to stay with you forever.
