Oh and also.... If you want to kickstart your psy career check out the cubaseguru(http://cubaseguru.com/) there is a great psytrance course there, it's 50£ but it's worth the money espacially if you´re noob....

And if u cant afford cubaseguru, the Andi Vax mixing secrets does have a really good kick n bass tutorial inside...He explains several methods of kickdrum creation and he also creates a bassline that fits the kick.....and he process it..

Download it for free:

http://arnout.engelen.eu/files/video/

And also on youtube there is one tutorial realesed for creating bassline with cronox 2 that is good for beginners..

And also here is a good tutorial:

http://forum.isratrance.com/bassline-tutorial/

But my hint is to watch all this tutorials and read the threads about it...and at the same time..experiment with your own kick+bass...trial and error is good..and also gettingg to know all the parameters in the synth, escpecially the envelopes so its becoming your basstoy=)

And if your track is in for example the key G, then u should know that the harmonics of G is in about 50 Hz...this u can see at a frequency chart..

http://www.speedyshare.com/845189402.html

My point here is when u create a kick for this track then u should create a sine wave of 50 hz and develop that into a kick drum..this makes the kickdrum sound so much better with your bassline in my opinion...what do other people think about this?? is it important?

So have fun and experiment...and dont forget to experiment with sidechaincompression..also experiment with your eq's...

Peace!

Yes it would be really nice but not worthy at all.

If you are going to take psytrance production seriously you should get to the idea of spending years on this mater just to obtain subtle improvement over the years.

Even if you had any daw's file with a nice bassline running it still would take years for your ears to really listen where they key to perfect balance kick n bass really is. (you could also use same bassline for all your tracks i know "artists" who do this).

Read all mother of all threads... practice and listen, post your results and in the end you will earn that knowledge and maybe then you will know, when a newbie comes asking for bassline, that it ain't that simple; then have a laugh.

boom

ahm there is a movie here in this thread

or just youtube for "psytrance bassline", you will find alot.

for kickdrums i suggest to get bazzism2. really awesome plugin.
for beginners the best synths are in my opinion alien303 (dont have to tweak much) and cronox2 and sylenth1 if yyou know how to tweak a bass.

good luck it took me 3 years
