Buy a cooking book and start to learn about basic combinations of combining flavours and spices, check the internet for some good recipes and learn about the history of food and traditional ways of cooking and combining food. When you do this all the food that you create will taste much better and you will also have fun in the process.

if i may bitch: i am completely disillusioned with parties and the people i meet at them. i simply cannot get down with anyone anymore. and i have tried.
i would like a higher class of party folk, but that will never happen.
and i would dearly like a reason to continue doing events. am i just burnt out? is there reason to keep doing shows?
meh, fuck america. shit's bound to be different out there.

create this higher class of party folk you speak of, throw parties that attract those people maybe?? or perhaps don't be so quick to judge people??? i dunno...seems like maybe you are indeed burnt out, or perhaps not burnt out, but fed up....make an impact and change something that you see is fuct.

i try to throw those parties, and we've got a very small amount of the good folks. i'm simply surrounded with electro/tearout obsessed rage-tards that seem to think i exist in order to cater to their raver whims.
it's gotten old throwing an event and having every single person show up and hit me up for drugs or to ask my djs to play "something we can rage to" or "hey man, i've got a flux pavilion remix out in the car, can you throw it on?" or "hey, why don't you play some drum and bass, i'm tired of this noisy shit" "this is a psytrance party dear, if you'd like a DnB show, why not help me throw one?" "well, i want to hear some dnb, why won't you play it?" "because this is a psytrance show…" "YOU JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT RAVE IS! YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND PLUR! FUCK YOU!!"
i would like the vibe i get from equinox. i have about 15 people that come out whom i cherish and love, and they appreciate my efforts to create an environment for active meditation and spiritual exploration. and they're worth throwing events for, but it gets old being the only one that tries.
i should move back to asheville! people are cool there.
anyone know where a chef can get a job over that way??

if i may show you the amount of people i'm talking, we generally pull more people than this, but this is the core of our scene. and these people are the only ones that are really down. great fucking people.
