Hmmm...let me think....same kick drums, same 16th bassline patterns, same sawtooth bass patch, same nord lead/virus/absynth presets, same Distorted Reality 1 and 2 samples, Laurence Fishburne's voice...Israeli full-on sounding the same?

No they are very diffrnt from one another maybe u just dont connect to the genre at all.

Don`t like Israeli psy any more. Liked it in the nineties when Oforia, Sandman, Chakra/Edi etc. ruled the scene. The music had so much more melody and atmosphere in those days. Only exception today is Dark Soho, but even their latest album was a slight disappointment... |

i dont like fullon at all.
for me, it was a great step back in the psy evolution.
there are many many others who are really pissed, like us.
we get near to the breakeven-point, and what happens next?
its getting minimalistic again, im so sure about that.
everything in life comes in waves.
another solution could be to split the scene, to serve the different tastes, but this has just too many negative aspects.
@hujaboy: since you are a part of the "problem", i dont wonder about your opinion. for me, you have died 1-2 years ago, sorry..
@djmegan: most peaceful place? please remember the history and the political situation of israel. this has nothing to do with a peaceful place, even when there are some nice ppl and you like the landscape or the religion or something.

im sorry to say, but israeli full on is the worst kind of trance out there. its ALL THE SAME!!!!! even south african full on is way more original and creative. i swear every Isreali full on artist gets together, copies all there sound samples and basslines from each other, swap the sounds around a bit, and release it as a tune. in my opinion UK psy is the best at the moment, with acts like Hallucinogen, Shpongle and south african acts like protoculture, and other european acts like Silicon Sound and CPU. i cant think of a single isreali full on act that i like. i think we need more originality and less "trendyness" from Israel. because honestly, its just boring the crap out of everyone (well everyone who has a good taste in music)
in my own humble opinion of course. |

I think there is a stagnation in trance music for years now. This is not only a problem of israeli full-on...it's the same with progressive. If I prelisten to new releases at psyshop.com it all sounds like heard a thousand times before to my ears. All sounds very stereotype, really not inspiring to me.
I also see this on party...stereotype dance moves....stereotype clothes....streotype decoration....booooooooooring!!!
Or maybe I just get old... ;-) |

the biggest problem with psytrance is now, that everyone and their dog (literally) is into it. i read an article that Prince William actually likes psytrance. wtf is this world coming to?????? |

If he likes the music, then let him listen to it. As long as the new people are friendly, down to earth, treating their fellow trancers with respect and are into the scene because of genuine love to the music (and not because of drugs for instance) they are more than welcome.
